the final expansion, Tribes of the East´s ending. srsly, you dont even destroy the evil overbaddy that commands the other. u just killed Biara (a succubus and his second-in-command) and then its over. O.V.E.R. after fighting through loads of hard maps, you dont even get the evil grin as you defeat the final baddy. i finished 3 campaigns (i rented the game and the 3rd map of the last campaign were fucking too hard). and then i find out on youtube that i missed nothing.
sure, the HOMM series is awesome, i might even go as far as saying its the best turn-based strategy game ever. but that ending was really annoying.

There's a different ending? I played through the game without failing once, and that extra scene was disappointing, too. You shouldn't have to play a game twice just to get a good ending. That's a dick move by the developers.Caimekaze said:

Well, this is about endings, fun stuff is nice, though. The game was a good time, thanks to the plot, but I'm not likely to play it again for awhile.Caimekaze said:

NHL 09, yeah I know it is a sports game and technically does not have an ending per se, however winning the Stanley Cup sort of qualifies and yet the celebration is completely half-assed, recycled and dull.
