Almost anything. Sliced bread is awful. As the late great George Carlin pointed out, whichever culture that invented this saying had pretty darn low expectations.

For starters, sex is better than sliced bread. Hell, second base is better than sliced bread. Both the sexual and baseball versions. 99.5% of oriental foods (Chinese+Taiwanese+Vietnamese+Thai+Japanese+Korean-North Korean) are better than sliced bread.
