Better With a Friend?????? [Pugs and Randoms]

while waiting for Bulletstorm and Killzone ive gotten into a mood on which i wanna play Co Op games. So i went out brought DR2 and waited for a Co Op game took about 2 hours i finally find one and he/she didn't have a mic which was annoying.

I asked do u have a mic and she/he responded with Throwing a Dildo [in game] at me. I leave because i wanted to find a a person with a mic

I found someone else he had a mic but to my dismay he sounded like a Homophobic Machine gun who says stuff along the lines of '****** [every second word] and Swear words. Also he sounded like he was 10 so i said 'could you stop swearing so much?'

he replied with 'F$#@ you ******' [Throws a Bench at me in game]

so i killed all his survivors he had with him at the time then left.

And its not even DR2 i Play Nazi Zombies with friends but if there not on i play with randoms.

Which isn't helpful at all 10 year olds with mics who steal your windows.

Now why is it so hard to find a Decent game who isnt a 10 year old Smack talker or No Mics people.

and my other question is Whats your Worst/Best experience with a Random?

Also i did try other people after on DR2 but too no avail i got a no Mic people and Smack Talkers.

I have PSN and Xbox Live and it happens all the damn time!
My worst experience was a kid who must've been like 11, bad mouthing the whole team for not being good enough. Even though he was near the bottom of the leaderboard! Its just frustrating. Thank god for the mute button!!!
You can't be too prejudice against people without microphones because its more of a money choice. Some of them I bet want to co-operate aswell.

Well....there's a reason most of us play without mics....it's cause of those 10 year old smack talkers we don't want to deal with.

why play co-op without a mic, its pointless there not even expensive.
now im not hating on people without them because who knows? they may have broken theirs etc
anyways i never play co-op with randoms, always with mates, more of a laugh

i tend to avoid randoms/pugs in online games, simply because i've played a lot of MMOs over the years. and in MMOs, i discovered that pugs are terrible about 85% of the time. sure, you *can* meet some really cool, skillful people, but it's a minority. if you have thick skin, pugs are fine. personally, i prefer to avoid them like the plague they are and stick with people who have already proven themselves to me.

even in MMOs, usually we'd try to have most of a group formed of proven people, then pug one or 2 spots. makes it a lot easier to keep going if they turn out to be incompetent, selfish jerks.

as for mics, i have one, but i tend not to use one with randoms, for reasons people have already mentioned above.

Many a Nazi Zombies game has almost been ruined by window arguments, but I always remember, it's better when your complaining about who stole someone's kills, and not who got someone killed.

OT: On the topic of Nazi Zombies, I once joined a random game where 3 people from a clan started asking me if I had come for their clan tryouts, to which I responded no. They responded with a don't be silly you idiot, we have the word zombie in our tags, of course you want to join. By round 8 all 3 of them were down and I had the MG-42 and SPATZ-447. All I had to say to them was "u jelly?" Good times.
