Pretty much what I'm saying is that with practice, Blackhawks aren't that dangerous, and if worst comes to worst, you can always use a stationary MG.
On the Island map, I find the stationary MG's (first M-COM station) on the defender's side excellent for taking down Blackhawks, as you can do enough damage for them to run off around the hill to heal, or to just kill them as they are not aiming for you.

Snipers are a ***** trying to do this, though.
Snipers are never a problem for me on that map.

Usually because I scan the hill where they like to snipe while pressing the spotting button that lights up any sniper, causing our snipers to take them out.

Very underused feature the spot button is. You'd be suprised how much it helps when someone uses it. I'm usually the only one that does.

Yea, I love to use the spot feature.

IT is just I suck at really sniping in BFBC2, so I tend to go VSS + Red Dot and murder.

I do spot on some of the bigger maps, with friend's though
Randomers, not so much
I love the VSS with Red Dot. The thing destroys. Granted you need to be close to an ammo box or something for it to be effective for long. But it does destroy.

And I always use the spot feature. It helps everyone so damn much. Especially against snipers. He may kill you, but you just relayed his position to everyone, and in 1 second he has 3 snipers on his ass.

Plus the nice spot assist bonus is cool.

Easy, you don't rush. :p

Take the routes that's covered by trees/ buildings.

I play assult the entire time if I can, my medic is up rather far, them my engi and recon are at the bottom but still rather good, you just have to learn how to play each class.

It's a good feature to get people's heads around counter-sniper tactics.

It's also good in that it might help reduce the number of people who play sniper as the "I sit here and I shoot" player. Force them to keep changing their sniping positions, to shoot and scoot, to plan out ahead which sniping points they'll use and in which prefered order. Also teach them to prioritise targets if giving away their position is going to give them grief. Basically, to stop people treating being a sniper as a blunt instrument.

You're dying so fast because you're probably playing it like MW2. BFBC2 is very squad oriented and you will need a well balanced squad in order to win/survive

I'm playing medic right now cause it levels you up really fast. However, assault is kind of fun, cause it kills pretty fast. Plus, I really want those smoke grenades. They look really fun.

I think the gameplay online is just as, if not more fun than MW2. (NOT COMPARING IT TO MW2, it's completely different, I'm just saying that it's fun, and certainly less frustrating.)

Engineer will probably be more fun once I unlock the tracer dart, too.

I'm not much of a sniper though, except on hardcore, so screw that.

It's the vehicles that I think are unbalanced, specifically the helicopters.

To OP its cuz ur playing it on xbox. When Nvidia Pops up and says "the way its meant to be played" it means that FPS should be played on Computer as well as any other game.

Indeed, you forgot the eleventh commandment Mozes dropped whilst coming down from the mountain: "Thou shalt not play an FPS on a console".

Seriously though, it's a riot this game. Love it to bits and will probably spend hundreds of hours to it over the coming year(s).
You need to take it slow and actually plan ahead. It's one of the rare games where your spawn-point can almost never be camped so dying when you get in is probably your own fault.

Pretty much this, and learn how to use each class I would say, I can do most things pretty well except I am not a very good sniper but I use it for mortar strikes sometimes lol

The multiplayer I reckon is awesome. All pins, 27 insignias and 145 dog tags is a testament to my admiration for it. I do feel I agree with some of the topic creator's view on the blackhawk. Five enemies, two snipers and two heavy machine guns with a good pilot will never be taken down by RPG or enplacement launcher.

This game rocks my socks, try more quiet game modes, or try UAV for starties, you can get kills without ever getting dead

The only time I die alot in this game is when the opposing team is mostly snipers, they all stay still in bushes and in forests.

They usually dominate the game due to them all covering each other to some degree.

It is nice to blow a wall away that somebody is hiding behind, although it isn't so fun the other way round.

Am I the only one who has realized some of the windows are weirdly high? You can only see a degree or two down and straight ahead. You have to blow the wall apart to make it a decent place to defend from, which means you have no cover and it's easier to spot you.

For BF:BC2 I play recon (A bit too much)my advice to you(for recon that is) is the following: Manuver after every 1-3 shot, find positions that are ideal for concealment even if their akward(Managed to take out four snipers on a hill before shooting from a tiny slit in a wooden fence because they couldnt spot me), Motion mines are your undying friends, finally play with the sniper rifles; eventually you can generally get a good grasp of how a particual rifle handles after a few games (Bullet drop, travel time, etc.)

As for general advice pretty much what everyone esle has suggested. Take it slow, get a squad, use your head

Edit: Also squad diversity is important; a squad of all snipers dosent contribute to teamwork

I do play team style as much as I can... If I'm sniping I try to stay relatively close to the action for close squad spawns, and I always heal / repair tanks / play secondary gunner when ever I get the chance. The problem I see is that everyone ELSE in my squad is lone wolfing, so what am I to do? Use my mind powers on them?

I'm seeing a lot of this argument, and my only explanation is as vague as your point.
I'm not a tard...
I know that this game isn't CoD and I play it the same way I played the first one. On the first one I was leading the room almost every time... I had my scores in the thousands on particularly long brutal matches... Now my K/D is like 3:1 at best.

The key to my success in Multiplayer is being sneaky... Flank, take the long way around and show up behind the enemies.

You can't think you'll survive a rush through a clear plain with nothing but your own ass to cover yourself.

Actually balancing updates are coming, there going to fix the Medic and possibly other classes. (All I heard was that they were fixing bugs and the Medic, which is way to over powered)
