Those you've mentioned. Basically everything that comes out in Christmas, because good games (Brutal Legend,R&CF: A Crack In Time) come out in October. Dark Void - i have no hopes for it.

i'll say mass effect 2. they would skimp out on game play again and try to make it a movie. games that try to be movies are BAD because its not a game, would make a good movie but a bad game. games that cant be played because they are so cinematic that it outnumbers actual game play is bad, no exceptions. example, like a 1 hour cinematic vs. 1 minute worth of game play. thats just my prediction though. maybe they will focus on game play now that the story is fleshed out.
And here we have somebody who understand neither the term "game" or the term "gameplay".
okay maybe i edited my message to the point it made no sense, missed words, and went in a cicrle. sorry, was distracted during typing. let me clarify:
mass effect 2 would be one long boring cinematic tale again. people buy games to PLAY them, not sit back and watch a movie. like a car, you expect to ride in it, not put it in a catapult and fling it at your work building. that is the point iam getting at.
call me boring but I really enjoy a somewhat slow paced yet meaningful story that is fleshed out over the corse of a game at an appropriate pace leaving room for moral customization of your character while presenting enormous grey areas that will leave you questioning your choices over the corse of the game leading to an unexpected yet thrilling climax. that is the one thing mass effect nailed better than most any other game to date and with combat, graphical, and RPG elements that look to be worlds better than its predecessors I think mass effect 2 is looking to be one of the most promising games in years. but thats just me

Any of the God of War 'ripoffs' coming soon. This would be (in order of disappointment) Bayonetta, Darksiders, and Dante's Inferno. Bayonetta takes tops (or lowest in this case) for simply selling the game on tits, which I was hoping gaming had grown out of by now.

HALO 3 ODST!
Also, This.
Yeah! Good to see someone who is open minded and can see the light!

Halo fanboys can suck a big fat one for all I care.
Its nice to meet yet another halo troll!

You guys are so original
Wow, we can't even insult a game without the Halo fanboys coming out and say we are trolling.

Halo 3 ODST i agree with.

And Uncharted Drakes fortune 2.

The first one was ok, and this seems exactly the same, but with multiplayer.

Assassin's Creed 2: I thought the first one was pretty terrible. If it's even the same general idea with the sequel, I'm sure it will be mediocre at best.

Bioshock 2: The first one had some amazing atmosphere, but the story was terrible and the gameplay went swiftly downhill once you passed the midway point. Tacking on multiplayer just to compete with the big boy FPS titles like CoD and Halo is not a very good idea if you ask me.

Every Madden game for the next 15 years until they actually make a change big enough to warrant the purchase.

Its trolling when you say
"Yeah! Good to see someone who is open minded and can see the light!"

Not because you believe the game is going to stink.

So fuck you bro

Is there any end of year, hyped up games coming out that you just can't get excited about/think will be bad(or since alot of them are sequels, you think they won't be as good as the origanal)?

I'd have to say Bioshock 2. Even though I loved the first one, it just looks like a rehash of the original with new gimmicks like the big sister and the fact that your a big daddy in it.

If you don't know what big tittles im taking about, I mean games like: Bioshock 2, Assassins creed II, Boderlands, Modern warfare 2 Etc.

I have that sneaking suspicion about Bioshock too but I'm trying to remain cautiously optimistic about it. I think Darksiders will suck hard.

Out of all the ones the OP listed, I am definitely the most skeptical about Bioshock 2. Games like Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect had flaws that were easily fixable (lack of variety in Assassn's Creed, and loading times/ samey planets in Mass Effect). I just don't see how Bioshock 2 can improve on the original.

It took some thinking but looking at more trailers deepened my suspision that Heavy Rain will become an industry joke. If the trailers were for a movie, nobody would have any interest in it. The graphics are horrible. People look like claymation with glass eyes and jerky animation.

The only promising thing is the branching storyline. Personally I'll believe it when I see it.
