When playing Mass Effect 2, the Quarian Kal'Reeger (I think I've spelled that right) sounded really familiar but the slight flanging effect of the voice made it hard to put a finger on. I consulted the Wiki and discovered it was Adam Bawldin. Figures he gets cast as the stubborn, big-gun toting soldier when he's so good at it!

I wanna hear Rik Mayall do more voice-overs because he has the best shouting-voice in the world.

Morgan Freeman would make a great narrator because his voice is the aural equivalent of warm honey / a relaxing soak in a hot bath.

Jeremy Irons does a good baddy and I would pay good money for a bad guy's henchman to be voiced by Julian Clary, just for the laugh.

Sean Pertwee, Michael Caine, Craig Charles, Billy Connolly, Jeff Foxworthy, Jason Statham, Bill Bailey and Jewel Staite all need to have a go too!

The man who played Private Ben Yahzee (No, seriously, it's Yahzee, not Yahtzee) in Windtalkers with Nic Cage. I found him to be a good voice to listen to. Really convincing in the part where he went to town on Nic's face.

Ving Rhames as Ving Rhames by Ving Rhames starring Ving Rhames and ended with Ving Rhames versus super necro piranha using a shotgun and a motor boat engine.

Also Jesse Eisenberg. I just really liked him in Zombieland and he looks pretty good in Social Network. I wanna see if he can be something interesting in a game.



I have no idea if any of these people have been in video games (aside from voices in video games of movies they were a part of) so don't thwack me for missing these. Just people I'd like to hear that I'm pretty sure I haven't.

John Cleese did "Sir Roderick Ponce Von Fontlebottom the Magnificent Bastard" in Jade Empire. Though, I do quite agree, I'd like to hear all those voices in more prominent roles.

This is a really good question, though. I would say Simon Pegg or Leonard Nimoy, but they've both done voice-acting for games recently.
Perhaps some Nick Frost to go with the Simon Pegg?

I loved that game, and it was pretty awesome that you could get his gun as a weapon if you said the right things after the fight.

Yeah. He played the only quarian who didn't suck or die. At least, if you played it properly.
