I will probably get the banhammer for this, but yes, she is actually kind of kinky... I was surprised to learn that people consider anal kinky, but many do, so there it is... I don't see why this thread should be locked, generally people arn't being stupid in this discussion, and its all been a pretty intelligent, relevent discussion over the pros and cons of exaggerated breast size in video games from a variety of aestetic and sociological perspective. It is in fact, a noticeable trend that affects us all, and no ones been stupid or immature about the discussion really.

In fact, I dare say everyone here deserves a massive round of applause: We just had a non-stupid, non-immature conversation about breasts ON THE INTERNET. This might be a world record of some kind.

I don't find big breasts are always a bad thing for a character, E.g. Orihime from bleach, while constantly being remarked upon, I don't think it defines her character, it's more of a point onto which jokes are made, an aspect of her instead of her identity.
But then, that could just be the fact I'm someone who doesn't watch TV Shows for the large breasts.

But, seriously we can all agree that trying to give both to a character would be incredibly stupid. A writer doing that should know that any admirable or noteworthy feature of a female's personallity would be overshadowed by her jubblies.

Also the size of Taki's hills ruined the game for me, I can't even play it without receiving dissaproving looks from my entourage and you know what? Even though i'm into big boobs, these are just grotesque.

I don't think that large breast size is immediately bad. I think that it should be modeled on real life, tweaked a bit for the fun of it. Take real life, add a cup size to everyone. Make breast size appear in games as less an obsessive compulsion (unhealthy) and more a point of interest to guys who like the idea of a little more size(just like real life). So Orihime...yeah, she is a big-breasted character handled well. She has large breasts, and it is handled as a noticeably unusual phenomena. Just like real life, where people do have large breasts, and it is both noticed, and appreciated to a degree. Now, in things like DOA, characters have obscenely large breasts across the boards, to the point of obscenity, and they are flaunted quite obviously, yet its treated as the standard for chest size. Large breasts becomes a bland standard, and the most creative way of shaking things up is, "Make them even bigger".

Basically, designers should stop being a bunch of weirdos who turn breast size into a creepy fetish, and go back to guys (you know the ones responsible ARE guys) who like breasts. The first is disturbing, the second every other guy in the world. Once thats happened, and we have found a happy middle ground, it should be a little easier to work on good character depth. And maybe, female characters wouldn't have to be so comically bad ass in a transparent effort to get people to take them seriously, and be actually bad ass because it who they are.

I don't actually like super large breasts, in real life or in anime/games. Like in Soul Caliber, I actually prefer to play Ivy's less exposed costume because she looks less like a bondage freak. Also people think you're a perv if you play any of the female characters in Soul Caliber. (I always play Nightmare anyway, so whatever)


Anime has really taken it too far when it comes to breasts, Even ten year olds in anime have giant breasts now.

You say bondage freak like it's a bad thing - what's up with that? And in anime the girls have to have super-sized boobs, else you couldn't tell them from the long-haired, angst-ridden, heavily made up boys. Except maybe by kimono color, maybe.

In my games I exist only as a pair of arms at most, so breast size isn't an issue. For games at large, I'm guessing the designers probably don't have much experience with women, else they could make sexy female leads without making them life support systems for silicone-based life forms. Or maybe it's because even the people who play games assume that they will be played only by adolescent boys.
