Biggest Disappointment?

Whats the biggest disappoinment in game form youve had?
I think mine was probably Fallout 3. I was expecting a lot from it.
And Force unleashed. On Wii.

Soul Calibur 3. I liked some of the new characters (Amy mostly), and the Create-a-Soul system, and the hot shopkeeper girls.

I hated the bullshitty AI, the boring Chronicles of the Sword, the bullshitty AI, the navigationally unintuitive Tales of Souls mode, and, most of all, the goddamned cheating piece of crap AI.

Devil may cry 2. I remember preordering the game, then waiting in the store for like two hours because the shipment was late. The game itself was just so bland and boring. It didn't have any of the cool combos from the first game and the story made no sense at all. Some dude who looked like Burt Reynolds was doing something and Dante had to stop him from doing something.

the biggest dissapointment is the search button. No matter how easy it is to use, no 1 does. Anyway I was dissapointed in Crackdown but I think the biggest dissapointment was resident evil 5. I mean there was nothing wrong with it it was just, eh. Probobly because it had to live up to so much hype and follow the best game ever, RE 4 but i still think it couldve been better

Resident Evil 5 and GTA 4. Hype is sometimes bad for a game when it has not yet been played. Hype it ONLY when it has been reviewed and played, and not while its still in trailer-mode. It would hurt less then lol

i dont understand the hate. i like conquest, sure it wouldve been better with voice acting from the characters in the movie but i still liked going through middle earth and the evil campain was cool

For me it was Red faction. The game was good but the story didn't had the depth I thought it would have.... And the multiplayer well.... Sucks. I was hoping for GUERILLA warfare and for the most part the game does it... There is just some sort of feeling I have that if the physics weren't the main focus in development this could have been the best game of the year rather than an average game. If you really really really liked rampage I recomend you buy it other wise rent and you be the judge.

I must say Spore... i was so eagerly awaiting that game, I looked that the 2005 30-min footage once a week. Then i get the game... ''THIS ISIN'T THE SPORE I SAW!'', seriously they must have screwed something up badly between 2005 and 2008

Thanks for the person above me, I remembered Halo 2 was a big dissapointment, Halo 3 wasen't so big but it had nothing against the first game, Wich was actually good.

No. Everything about that game was half assed. Voice acting, story, multiplayer, EVERYTHING.
the bodies dissapeared within 2 seconds of killing the person, not like adding more time would've made it better... but it would give me a little sense of accomplishment... It was just terrible...

My friend shat on and on about how good Crazy Taxi was (this is before I knew better and had the interent) so I went and bought it.
