Biggest Disappointments?

I was disappointed when I played Dirge of Cerberus. I had heard from a few gamers that it was a shit sandwich, but I had high hopes that the story and my love of Nero could save it.

Alas, that was not the case.

I had a friend who spent a long time telling me about how amazing Oblivion was. After wasting $60 on it for PS3 (I didn't have a working PC at the time), I realized very quickly that it was very difficult for me to stay awake while playing it.

He then convinced me to pay another $20 for the GOTY strategy guide. That didn't work. He then convinced me to get the PC version with Mod A, Mod B and Mod C installed. I still wanted to bleed my eyes.

I'm surprised how much of a hardon I have for Fallout 3, because I can't fucking stand Oblivion, which is why I've been trying to sell the game and strat guide, but everyone who would actually play this garbage already has it, and I'll have to lie to get someone who's barely heard of it to buy it from me.

And now I play the waiting game...

I thought I was the only sap on the Escapist that bought the Galactic Edition.

I think the worst part about Galactic Edition was that it came with a little concept art book that showed you how awesome the game could have been.

I'd have to go with never asking those girls that you really liked out and only to find out later when they are in a relationship that they had a crush on you.

I'll agree on that one.

Lesser disappointments would be the Transformers movies, Final Fantasy XII and Haruhi Season 2 (and I say this last one as I listen to its opening. T_T).

The biggest dissapointment of my day came when I realized that the contrast in my images were do to particulate contamination of my molecular transfer substrate. I am now unable to acertain the difference between surface contamination and surface functionalization.

And now i just spilled some of my beer on my lap when my cat jumped up. Then she ran away.

Today sucks.

Would have to be Master of Orion 3, Star Control 3, or Wing Commander 3. Bad things come in 3s, apparently.
