Maybe it will drop below those expectations?Indigo_Dingo said:There are a couple of problems with calling that "most disappointing title of 2009"Baby Tea said:I'll jump in with the obvious 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, which I think is slated for 2009. 1. Everyone is expecting it to be a failure, so how can it be a disspointment if it matches our expectations exactly?
you know what's the worst? that it's actually pretty probablemspencer82 said:I really hope I'm wrong, but Heavy Rain. It looks way to good to actually live up to my expectations.
Further disappointments/predictions for 2009:
-After finally being unveiled in November of 2009, Half-Life 2: Episode 3 will be delayed until March of 2010, and retitled "Half-Life Forever"
-Nintendo will announce "Wii Motion Super Plus" which will further improve the accuracy of the motion controls, but still won't be compatible with any games.
-Halfway through the year, Sony will finally admit that the Home "beta" is really the final build
-Microsoft finally realizes how useless Avatars are and "borrows" something else from its competitors

Your spelling. Oh right, a game? Well, I think that Blizzard have established them on the RTS and RPG front (Yes, I'm staring at Diablo, and pretending that World of Warcraft doesn't exist.) so no worries about Starcraft, But I'm just worried about Wii games. Lots of them try to distract you with controlsPraelanthor said:alright escapist time for you to excercise your clarevoyance and give me your predictions for the worst big title game of 09
my attempt
starcraft 2 just wont live up to its predicessor
LOTR Conquest was almost identical to Star Wars Battlefront in most gameplay aspects. The only thing that kept me playing that awful demo was myself prentending I was playing battlefront.cuddly_tomato said:Capslock warrior!TheCurtmiester said:NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO THE DEMO IS AWESOME AND TELLING EVERYONE TO DO SOMETHING YOU WANT MAKES YOUR EGO MASSIVEcuddly_tomato said:Lord of the Rings: Conquest.
Anyone who has ever played Demonstone will know exactly what I am talking about. Avoid this game no matter what the damn reviewers say.
I'll wager this turns into one of the big turkeys of 2009. It is way too similiar to Demonstone or one of the KUF games to succeed.
I'd have to agree with you on Spore. I've still only played it once.. Did the whole "growing into a dominant species" thing, and just kinda got bored. Its a bland fucking game.Kukul said:My girlfriend...
but seriously (not that I wasn't serious before) it has to be Spore.
You're right, its '09.Baby Tea said:I'll jump in with the obvious 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, which I think is slated for 2009. I could be wrong, and if so I'll just tuck that away for the 'Big disappointments of 2010' thread.

Instantly worse- Paying $64.75 for it, compared to whatever price it was before.Indigo_Dingo said:He's not exactly magic, he can't make a worse game than Bulletproof.
