Biggest gaming disappointment in 2011??

Seeing as I actually had a lot of fun with Duke Nukem Forever, I think I'm gonna have to go with the YLOD forcing me to replace my PS3.
As far as actual games go, I think the only disappointment that comes to mind is how poorly Bulletstorm's story goes with its gameplay. You walk into a room with savages pinned on spikes, blood everywhere "Oh, what kind of sick bastard would do this?!" says Grayson. ...Erm... You? Like 400 times, five minutes ago. It gives you 100 points and you shouted "Woo, murder party!" immediately after doing it. Thank god for Echo mode.

Huh, I really haven't been too disappointed by a game this year, so I guess Dragon Age 2 gets it by default, even if wasn't that bad.

I really don't see why everyone was hyped for Brink in the first place. As soon as I saw the trailer, I called it. I remember the first thing I said after watching the trailer for the first time "Wow. I've never been more uninterested in game based on its trailer alone before.. More than half that shit won't even make it into the game.. I bet my years salary that "action rolls" will not be interpreted in the game at all yet there's 10 of them in the trailer."
And I ask you people. Can you do an action roll in Brink? No, you slide.. pfft.

Mind you I didn't really expect the game to be great, even after 14 years. But, man, I don't think anyone expected it to be as awful as it turned out to be. You know something has gone horribly, horribly wrong when a player is disappointed by a game they weren't even excited for.

Not because there was necessarily anything wrong with it, or that I had big expectations, it just totally failed to capture me, and thus I was out the cost of two boxes and two 1 month subscriptions (for me and my girlfriend) for a pretty "meh" experience.
DA2 was pretty disappointing in that it was a blatant rush job, but I was already expecting a blatant rush job based on the volume of the yowling on the internet prior to its release, so I was actually pleasantly surprised when it didn't cause my PC to spontaneously erupt into flames.

Mortal Kombat. It's so cool, and yet so unbelievably behind the times mechanics-wise. It would have been amazing in 2007, but once SF4 raised the bar, it just seems very dull and simple by comparison.
I would argue that DA 2 wasn't that bad, but that particular horse has been beaten to a fine pulp on these forums so, whatever....

I was going to say DNF but did anyone actually expect it to be good? The biggest dissapointment for me is probably Brink. I love games with deep character creation (Roll on Saints Row the Third!) but that game had nothing going on for it besides that. The SMART system was just a glorified jump button and the shooting was sub-CoD.
