Spoilers:

[-spoiler=description, defaults to "Spoiler, click to view" if you don't have this part-]your spoilers[-/spoiler-]

Remove the hyphens.

If you don't know how to do something, just quote a post that has it in it, and you should be able to figure it out.

I've said this in another post, but it warrants reposting. The sex scene in Faranheit! My brain nearly exploded with surprise, I just stared all o_O.

In KOTOR
when you discover that you are Revan.

In Bioshock
when Andrew Ryan reveals that you are being controlled with the phrase "Would you Kindly?".

The end of F.E.A.R. 2
where Alma, a ghost, rapes the main character and becomes pregnant. What the fuck was that about? Will it be a weird psychic half ghost half human hybrid baby? This shit does not make sense.

So, it was 2001 and I was playing HALO for the first time on my new Xbox. My friend and I were going through co-op, and we did level 5 - ASSAULT ON THE CONTROL ROOM, which is one of the best single levels in gaming history. Then comes level 6, GUILTY SPARK. It starts in this rainy swamp, with this suddenly eerie music. It's nighttime, and right away there is a whole different feel to the level than in the previous ones. You push through the swamp, you enter the structure, and then one of the biggest and best creep out moments happens. The Flood.
I had no clue that game had horrible zombie monsters from another world.

When Jenny got killed in GUN
This.
Also -
COD4 Nuke.

And I agree with Emeli on the Fahrenheit sex scene thing. Lucas and Carla know each other for a week and suddenly they jump on each other in a bum filled train station where anyone can see and hear them.

As I said in another one of these,
{When Almualim turns on you in Assassin's Creed, and how it makes perfect sense that he does and I didn't see it coming at all.}
Really? I thought
it was meant to be incredibly obvious, to highlight how bad a position Altair's in, because you can tell that, at least from half-way through on, he damn well knows Al Mualim is evil, but still has to obey him.

Anyway, less of a twist, but
Fai Dan's suicide [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9Pr5imIG2Y] in Mass Effect really got to me, as did Nihlus' death. I guess because you see them seconds before, and then there's a discretion shot, which is strangely disturbing. Especially with Nihlus, because you see Saren aiming at him, then control switches back to you and you hear the gunshot in the distance.
Somehow I knew you were gonna say that :).

Anyway...

Would you Kindly?
Would you kindly feed me my putter?

My moment isn't so much "*gasp* whaaaaat" as it is "*Uncontrollable laughter*".

I was playing GTA IV, and Packie called me up wanting to go drinking. I wasn't doing anything at the moment, so why not. We go, get drunk, and catch a cab back to the yellow marker outside Packie's house. But, the cab parked across the street, so me and Packie had to stumble our drunken selves to the sidewalk.

We hit the marker and the camera changes. It's looking up at Packie from the pavement. He says "That was fun, Niko. Let's do it again s... *BAM* He gets obliterated by a car going down the street.

Without a doubt, the funniest thing I have ever seen in a video game.

Hmmm dumb as it is...

Tales of Symphonia, when Zelos ACTUALLY betrays you and gets killed. I didn't think they'd seriously kill him off. Also I didn't think Mithos was Yggdrasill until you're bare facedly told his first name is 'Mithos' ... I'm slow, but I just thought Mithos was like the ancient hero spirit or something. Being told this little sissy boy you've been carting around is the main villian, does kinda make you go "Wait...what?" Theres a whole bunch of shit in that game that made me do a doubletake now I think on it...

Stupid RPG's and their stupid twists...

I don't know how to 'spoiler box' so therefore I'll censor everything I say.

I thought the plot twist in (censored) was really good when it was revealed that (censored) was not the main villain and that instead his (censored) was in fact the main villain and he was simply the tool in the grand (censored) to (censored) all (censored) (censored) an that the real reason of (censored)'s motivation is that he was in fact (censored) by (censored) the whole time and was unaware he was being (censored)

....life withour the spoiler box sucks... but at least no one can accuse me of telling them the end of the 'game with the name that I will not give'.

The Enclave appearing like that. I had no experience of the previous Fallouts you see. I thought they were just some old government organisation with a mad radio man.

Viewtiful Joe 2. I was like "OMG HIS DAD IS THE VILLAIN..." and I just realized that's making fun of star wars. I think. maybe.

System Shock 2:

When you finally get to Dr. Polito's office, only to find that she's dead and it's been SHODAN controlling you this whole time. Right near the beginning of the game, my friend said "I bet you any money, this lady talking to us isn't even real." When we got there and found that he was right, we were simultaneously shocked and amused so much that all we could do was laugh and stare.

Same thing with the big twist in the middle of BioShock. Man, I really did not see that coming.

... Is it just me, or do the Irrational Games/2K Boston/Australia guys know how to do that sort of thing really well?
