Probably Mass Effect 2. Even though its my top game of all time, it was pretty damn easy to beat the final boss, just takes a lot of bullets and that's about it. As for the rest of the game, challenging, especially on Insane good god those Vanguards kill the hell outta me.

Borderlands, the final boss was probably the worst boss battle I have ever done.

All it is is stand behind a pillar and shoot at it when it isn't attacking, which would be fine if it didn't have enough health that I burned through all of my ammo on it.
^^ Exactly what he said. Exactly!

Also although not a boss fight per se but at the end of Condemned 2 where you get the "head popping scream" in order to fight the last boss just ruins the game for me.

The Cloud of Darkness from Final Fantasy III on DS
You fight the final boss, and it is impossible to beat as it 1 hits your entire party in turn 1. You are then ressurected from the dead and have to go through a dungeon to fight it again. When you fight it the second time it is pathetically easy and the attack that 1hits you in the first fight does barely any damage. It seems like such a let down after the first fight. However to be fair, you can only save in the overworld, and can't leave after entering the dungeon,by the time you do the second battle it is probably two hours of gameplay since you were last allowed to save, meaning that if you die in the final fight you have to do the whole thing again.
There may be others but this is just something I replayed recently and find such a letdown!

i thought that the final boss from uncharted 2 was a real let down. The rest of the game was awesome and then you just had this stupid tedious boss fight.

Have you ever had a game that was just so perfect in every way to be let down epicly by the the final battle, boss, etc.? Well I am wondering just that what game completely let you down when it came to the end?

Mine had to be a tie between Fallout 3's Colonel Autumn and The Force Unleashed Emperor
The emperor wasn't that bad -

Mine would be Assassins Creed 2, especially since they pull the absolute kardinal (pun intended) sin of letting me fight / see / follow around the big baddie fifty frickin times, every of which I could have easily used to end his life right there on the spot.
Yep, you fight the guy about 8 times, and end up having a boxing match with a fat guy. A boxing match during which I didn't realise I had to grab him in order to win. So I spent far longer countering every punch he threw than I needed to. But I suppose history gets in the way of who you can and can't kill.

Zeus in God of War 3.

Seriously, that's it? Fighting the king of Olympus on his home turf and this is what I get?

Can't believe no one mentioned Halo 3 yet.

I was hoping to fight Gravemind. Instead we fight the lightbulb.

Fable 1.
<spoiler=Fable 1 final boss fight>Seriously, what the fuck? I had trained in strength and all that jazz, making me kick ass, although he put up a good fight.
Yet there he was, half life, and he just floated up there for the rest of the fight.
Frankly, I would had wanted him to get up there maybe once in a while, than to get down and rush at me with his minions.

But NOOOOO! He had to stay there the rest of the boss fight, only for you to spam arrows and ranged spells at him.
Since I was strength based and hadn't put much effort into ranged spells or bows, it took me a long time to take him out.
Such a huge fucking let down. I didn't even get to make a final crushing blow with my hammah!

I have had other poor boss fights, but this one takes the fucking cake.

Well I wouldn't say Starfox Adventures was anywhere near perfect but it would have been a very good game if it wasn't for the terrible ending. That was a really pathetic ending, I think they ran out of time or something and just put no effort in what so ever.

As much as I love the game, Psychonauts has a piss-poor final boss. It is literally as follows;
1) Wail on boss in your super-powered giant form.
2) Run away for a little while to wait for said superpowered giant form to recharge (Embarrassingly easy to do)
3) Repeat above two steps a few times
4) Victory.

I didn't even take a single point of damage. On my first try.
Then again, that boss probably just serves as some emotional closure and isn't meant to be hard. That doesn't make the boss fight any less lame, though. Especially embarrassing because the STAGE the boss is in (Meat Circus) is frustratingly difficult.

Although it wasn't really up to much throughout the whole game

my answer's easily Fable 2
Yeah, wtf was up with that?! At least you had a free wish which was awesome!
Shame the wishes all sucked really
Yeah I used the loved ones wish because I thought that would bring my sister back :(

For me it would prolly be the first Zone of the Enders. Zombie Nieth was a push over and Anubis just sorta knocked you around. Also Moon (for DS) was kinda easy.
