I hate games that try to become 'more accessible' or pleasant for a 'wider audience'

age of empires 3 did that... those ... bastard bastard bastard's illegitimate children
What changes where made to make it 'more accessible' in your eyes, because I thought it was fairly good, lack of historical campaign aside.

If you're playing a stealth game, 90% of the time there will be an enemy you can kill while he's pissing.
Even in some FPS games, Halo 3- pissing Brute, CoD 3- pissing German.

Stuff that has no quality of fun being shown as a "minigame", like when your cousin phones you in GTA:IV and you have to stop killing to meet him.

Race Missions are also frustrating

Not exactly game related but still part of the multiplayer aspect is:
Ten-year old children playing rated M games and doing horrible at it.
Ex.
Playing Left4Dead on Blood Harvest. We reach the farm house and grab what we can from the house. Head upstairs and we are holding pretty well. I suddenly realize that we were missing one survivor. Turns out that he ran off into another building looking for supplies. After yelling at his (well more like scolding) I hear his voice. A 10-year old kid voice. We go after him and save his nipples from being ripped off by a hunter and lo and behold, a tank appears right behind him. The kid is sent flying 50 feet and is down on the ground. We finish the tank with the rest of us taking no damage and revive him. Survived the match barely.

the fact that in the hardest settings of a war game the entire opposing army seems to only have a problem with you and leave your chums alone despite the fact your just a private.

although my biggest has to be no carrying on after completed game (especially in RPGS) the absolute worse is when you complete it, the credits happen takes you back to the main menu, you click continue/resume game too see if you'll be able to walk about and be congratulated by the people you saved and you'll be able to do all the side missions, but instead it loads you into the start of the final boss battle! (mass effect I'm looking at you!)

Any game where a boss has ANYTHING that can heal it. I always end up with less than a centimeter of health when it decides to heal to full.

And make me press the off button.

In any "you-can-kill-knock-out-or-sneak" game where you can't actually sneak without being seen without the quickload key. Deus Ex did this, too many outright firefights and cameras around corners (they did try, though).

Also, a "run-and-gun-or-stealth" game with ONLY ONE usable stealth route. Give me options!

Lastly, Real-Time RPGs that claim you can sneak past enemies to continue, and don't reward you for it! And then force you to fight later, about ten levels down from what you should be! (Specifically, I'm thinking Geneforge, kudos to anyone who knows what that is.)

Save points. I utterly detest them. Let me save whenever I want- period. Why are so many FPS titles drifting away from this incredibly simple concept?
Okay, I'll meet you halfway. You can choose a couple essential points where quick-save is disabled, but I want it for the rest of the game.
