Actually the biggest shock i ever recieved from a game was Bubsy 3D way back when.
I typed in a cheat code and pressed start. the word "CHEATER" flashed across the screen. broke the forth wall, shocked me to my core!

Kings quest one, after walked onto the sceen and landed directly in the moat after getting all the treasure and realising that i had let the goat out and i could not finish the game.
AvP 2 for Pc, when you are waiting for an alien to jump out at you but all there is, is just movement and dripping water. and when i found the minigun and was blazing around with it and before an alien exploded it began to go 'Click click' 000 rounds left.
And the facehuggers, and facehugger eggs to be honest the least scary part was being an alien although i was kinda shocked when i had to

Oh and the part in quake four when.... well people who have played it knows what happens to you and how graphic it is. to be honest i turned off my screen before it finished.

its the dark brotherhood quest and easter egg u can drop the head in the room where lucien lachance is hanging and the other fingers are there and the son of the head will be shocked and reveal himself to u onlybuggy65 said:

and to be unique the damn trogs in the pitt expansion of fallout 3 and the one that made me crap my pants was resident evil 2 on n64 wen i was in the save room feeling safe and secure and about to leave when a licker crawled across the window! nothing should disturb the safety of the save room!!!!!!!!!!! (also i was like 8 at the time)
I gotta say the first time I played COD4 and discovered that you actually die while playing as a Marine right after your helicopter gets nuked by the terrorist.
I also have to agree that the part in RE5 were you find out that the cloaked villan is actually Jill. Honestly I didn't see that comming.

considering just about everyone in the gaming world has beaten gta3 i dont think this deserves a spoiler warning....one of my omg that was so redundant moments was during the end credits after you save her and she wont stop talking then you hear a gun shot sound made me laugh like hell after i heard it then i thought omfg i did all that work for nothing XD
