I was palying Halo 3 a while ago with my friend online and we were in a game on opposite teams.
We ran into each other in the middle of Sandtrap and we started to fire, I lobbed a grenade at him and he dodge it by jumping. When he came back down he took out his energy sword and lunged at me, taking me out. The gernade cause a fusion coil to blow, which hit a guy on my team and killed him, his body knocked down a mongoose that hit a plasma battery, that blew up the mongoose, its flaming wheel flew like half way across the map and hit me when i repawned...it counted as a suicide.
Swords on Sandtrap? Hmm. Dubious.
The two biggest ones off the top of my head are:
Construct, Social Slayer. I throw a plasma 'nade at a guy on snipe, who dodges it. It flies into the purple lift, sticking my team mate on the back, and then blows up, killing him, 2 other team mates, and an enemy.
The other was on Isolation, Team Doubles. I fire a snipe shot at the Ghost driver, and it manages to not only go between the driver and the front of the cockpit (about 8 inches space), but also manages to take out my injured buddy, who was carrying rockets. Needless to say, they picked up the rockets and put them to use. We won, though.
I've probably caused some worse, and I've certainly experienced others-two ally warthogs driving directly into the path of my own team's rockets in Ranked BTB anyone?
