Biggest Waste of money you've ever spent?

PS3 for about £90. First hand too. And so far i've probably spent about 2 hours on it. But, as soon as FF XIII Versus and Kingdom Hearts 3 are out, its win win win.

But for me its normally clothes, I spend money on them, wear them once or twice, then decide I don't like them anymore.

Afraid not. I work at sainsburys, and they were getting rid of them to make way for the slimline ones. So, it was £100, minus £10 staff discount and voila. =D

I'm usually not very impulsive with my money, but I have to say EndWar for $80, and then Spore for $40 from a friend. I didn't understand why he'd sell it for such a price until I played through to the Creature stage. *shudders*

I thought it would be a good idea since it is a blurayplayer
and mediastation and a console in one package.

But it is loud and slow :-(

My only hope is that Brütal Legend will be good so that the PS3 is
not a total waste.

I'm tempted to troll and say my 360, but I got a refund on it so no money was wasted.

It's easily BF2142, after 3 months playing (so out of refund period) EA decided I was playing a pirate copy and banned me. I wasn't, it had cost 45 arsing quid. Obviously I sent an email to EA support explaining the situation and asking what I would have to do to prove my copy was genuine and get my account reinstated.

EA's reply email amounted to 'fuck you,' I haven't paid money for an EA game since and never, ever will.

Biggest single waste is flights to Marseilles after a communication cock-up left me £170 out of pocket and with two seats on the plane.
