We lost another one.

I knew him as Hudson from Aliens. What a great movie! I'm gonna rewatch it tonight in his memory.

The only man to be killed by a predator AND an alien (and Maybe a terminator... his fate wasn't explicit there).

So sad to hear he's gone...

2017 is really turning out to just be 2016's crappier sequel.

Damn it, I was really hoping to see him in Neill Blomkamp's Alien "semi-reboot" if it ever gets made. Paxton was really interested in reprising his role as Hudson.

But Hudson was killed in Aliens. Then again, we're talking about 20th Century Fox, who don't care about continuity.
You never actually see him die, you see him get dragged away (unless you're counting the Aliens Colonial Marines continuity where they find his body in the sewers, but no one actually counts that since the game is shit).

I assumed he died when the colony turned into a mushroom cloud the size of Wyoming.

People always forget the entire colony blew up in the end.

If the death wasn't on screen it can always be bullshitted around.

Maybe he managed to drag himself in a refrigerator.

Or they made a synth copy of him. That's a pretty easy explanation to put any former actor who played a dead character back into the series.

I'm a bit shocked. I think I'll watch Frailty in honour of him tonight.
Indeed, my favorite role of his. So fucking good.

Really bummed he's dead.

Game...over...man...Game...Ov-Gah fuck it.

Rest in peace.
Totally my reaction as soon as I saw the news. Hudson could have just been "generic grunt number 6" in Aliens, but Bill Paxton was so awesome I remember everything he did and said waay more than any of the actors with bigger roles, and even though he played lots more cool roles and lots of more serious and weighty roles, I always thought of him as Hudson forever after. Sad that it really is Game Over now :(

I think you have to go crazier than a fridge. What about he mind controlled a Xeno and jumped on the back and zipped out of Dodge? Or he punched a Xeno, its blood burned through the ground and then he had a sheet of metal to cover the top?

He took on the Aliens, a Predator, and the Terminator; Godspeed Bill. I also remember him having a minor role playing a bartender in Streets of Fire. We are losing too many celebrities at the ages of 60/61 lately.
