I would go with biological, simply because its more amazing for me when natural living matter
can cause as much destruction as technology can XD

If I could splice Telekinesis or Lightning-Bolt-Finger-Power without having adverse side effects, I'm all in.

But, if I can be a Spartan without any of the side effects, AND build myself some Mjolnir armor to go with that, I might have to flip a coin.

biological, because i'd go for i brain with the capacity to remember everything i see and how to do everything i've ever done (that way in a very short time i could be amazing at anything!), have a gland that allows me to spit normally, spit stomache acid, or in the right conditions spit fire (cause it's badass), condense my muscles so that they would take up the same amount of space but, when combined with adrenaline, or just when i want to, i can become super strong and fast etc. be able to heal extremely rapidly and lastly telekenisis. i could do all this as a cyborg, but say i get shot in the throat and the metal thing that controles what i spit gets bent in, yeah the bullet might not kill me and yes i can repair it, but if it blocks my wind pipe and i can't repair it in time i'm screwed, vs. bullet goes straight through and my kneck heals the end. also it would be much more... convenient to have the biological because, well say you're trying to get to sleep, you roll over on your side and OUCH! you rolled onto your arm and the machete inside just impaled you, alot of restless nights. also just to clarify if i got one of these i would definately enter the military (with conditions of course) so i mainly think of the combat efficiency (also all cyborgs must have some sort of blade in their arms, i'm sorry that's just the rule.

My BioShock fandom demands biological. My love of robots, cyborgs, and FMA demands technological. If I could do it without the risk of mutation or losing my F'ing mind, I might say biological. But otherwise I'd say cyborg. Even though I could get a virus or something, and then that'd be the same or worse as any biological cons.
They both do have risks, yes. Splicing has the risk of mutations running rampant and turning you into something horrible. Cyborgs run the risk of being hacked and manipulated/killed. So you could see the question as "would you rather run the risk of wild mutation or being a puppet for some crazy hacker?"
Well, then. I go with biological. If I'm gonna lose my mind, ain't nobody having it until they're picking me apart at the morgue. Plus biological weapons and plasmids would just completely be awesome.

Preferably, a little of both. While I would love to augment my senses beyond normal human comprehension (heightened eyesight, for one, and preferably the ability to switch between the ability to see in the visible color spectrum and infrared at will), it would be incredibly painful and arguably take much more time to master. There's also the risk of exhibiting strange traits associated with the genes from the organisms chosen to biologically enhance yourself, insanity or not. Suddenly sniffing the crotches and butts of dinner guests doesn't seem like something I'd be fond of developing.

Whereas on the technological side of things, I would love to be able to do complex calculations in my head, as well as store and retrieve data files. Programming would be a snap with such a wealth of information readily available (and without all of those books to boot!), which, combined with the brain's incredibly sophisticated way of recalling information, would actually give me the mind of a supercomputer. Of course, there's also the threat of corruption, either through the failures of the hardware or malicious software. Alternatively, technological enhancements to muscle controls--super strength and the ilk--would also be prone to fatal errors. And in this case, not fatal as in "the program has processed a fatal error and must terminate," but rather fatal as in "no, officer, my robot arm crushed her trachea because of a flaw in the programming."

Ideally, the best option would be to take the best of both. Biomechanical body modifications all the way, baby!

biological
that way i could end up looking like kanden here

with super strength, speed, eyesight and regenerative abilities
and being to shoot electrifyed/incinedary/acidic/explosive projectiles from my arms
plus being able to turn into a maggot to slither up walls and through crevices

yeah i might go insane but id still be a badass living weapon

Mutant!! The Marvel universe lovers here would definatly prefer a biological change!
My prefered choice: -Self contain (no food/water needed) -restless (no rest needed) -Infnite energy/stamina (can always run and such, to go with both of the previous)
