Looking at that video, it seems more generic. However, I am willing to give it the benefit of the doubt based on how I loved the first one.

I just have a few concerns. They are, does it have re-playability on a level higher than the first one(Only one pass and done), and how does the multi-player stack up against other FPS type games.

Speaking of multi-player, I honestly believe Bioshock type games would benefit from a DoTA style leveling system for your person where you gain extra abilities as you play each map(new person to game would get leveled up to the point of the average level of said game to keep it balanced when new people join an already existing match). It just screams re-playability that way. At least for a while.

Surely, you do not speak of... AN ACTION ROLE-PLAYING FIRST PERSON SHOOTER?

The drill mechanics seem very similar to the Halo swords, down to the lunge having rougly the same range. What happened to bioshock's own "curl up and fly across the room" drill charge?

Also, did anybody notice the little sister sitting on the floor in the second part?

Finaly, I swear I saw Scholar Visari's head on one of the splicers.

I indeed do. And I believe it would be fantastic judging by the custom mods in games such as CS:S, and TF2.

Edit: I know of Savage 2, but that's more of an RTS/FPS/RPG, and too complex for its own good.

I noticed that too, I was disappointed at the last of the drill-straight-through-your-liver method the big daddies used in the first bioshock trailers.

Do want.
I'm a bit skeptic, but damn! This game looks almost exactly like what I've been waiting for.

Doesn't really look like you are a Big Daddy when you're moving so fast.
And Big Sisters running away from you? Notbthe same feeling as a Big Daddy.

looks a bit the same in my opinion, although I like the 2 hands thing.

All looks groovy, apart from the second part of the video.

Another 'protect the little sister' quest? Damnit! I hated that quest the first time around.

Hmm...I need to see more. I love how the feel of the game still has that old Victorian feel to it, but it needs something new, it looks too much like the old one at the moment.

And hopefully there are more weapons avaliable - if it's simply limited to the rivet gun and the drill things could get repeditive quickly.

FFFfffffff

Idk how much I'll like this.
Haven't seen enough to judge, and I know I'll play through it anyways... But still.

All I really care about, is that they're quicker to put it on PC this time.

Still a little skeptical about it, but it looks better than I expected it to.
