Bioshock 2 General Discussion.

to be honest i could really care less about the multiplayer..its there i guess and if its decent ill play it..but im most concerned about the single player which is the Bioschock franchise's bread and butter..idk i was looking forward to the prequel story idea..and i dont really care for the one they decided to go with, so my final verdict is that it will probably be playable..but no NEARLY as good as the first one

Am I the only one who didn't like BioShock? I thought the gameplay was overly simplistic, even removing the inventory, and everything felt all clunky. Maybe thats just me.

In order for me to really give two hoots about the multiplayer it would have to do something really special. The Big Daddy mode is a nice start, even if it's just adapting the juggernaut mode from other games. I think one mode that might be interesting would be one were theres a team of well armed survivors against splicers, who while lacking weapons have their plasmids. Then again that is just cribbing L4D. I guess what I'm saying is that Bioshock 2 is going to have to do something really interesting with it's multiplayer so I don't think of it as MW2 with super powers

mw 2 with superpowers would still be awesome though.

Not likely. Bioshock was great for a lot of reasons, but the shooting mechanics was not one of them.

Trying to compete with others on those term doesn't sound like much fun.

i personally found shooting to be really fun, i have no idea why, but i think that it will be great, just my op though.

I just want them not to forsake the single player at the cost of the multiplayer(MW2), that's my only worry about this game.

Interestingly I've been hearing the multiplayer is actually supposed to be like the prequal to the entire series. And as you progress you unlock more and more story.
