So just out of curiousity, I rather enjoy the Bioshock 2 multiplayer and find it to be a fresh sort take on multiplayer. What do my fellow Escapists think of the multiplayer in Bioshock 2?

I think it is pretty good. The Plasmids and Tonics really spice the gameplay up and the it's fun to use them to kill players in creative ways. It's also a lot of fun to play a Big Daddy.

it sucks everyone noob tubes, it disconnects almost instantly and lags so badly 99% left on the first patch.
Which is why you use Telekensis to throw them back. If everyone noob tubes then you shouldn't have any problem finding a use for the Plasmid and the game runs smoothly for me so I don't really see where the lag issue is coming from.

I enjoyed my first few games until I realized the host always seems to get a giant advantage. I think I will just stick with story mode.

I don't know why people are complaining about lag, because I don't have any lag at all. I really like the multiplayer. Generally, I hate multiplayer games, but I actually enjoy Bioshock 2. I think the combination of plasmids and guns makes it stand out, although I wish it were bigger than 6 to 10 people. Is it spectacular? No. Worth playing? I'd say so.

That's what I have Call of Duty for.
Call of Duty is different.
You can tell because of the spelling.

BioShock.
Call of Duty.

Vastly different spellings.

Probably Australia.
His Profile states him as American. So I don't think his residency is the problem.

OH SHIT!!! REALLY?!?!?! I was unaware of that, thanks for pointing it out. Now I know it's ok to switch out the disc in my tray and it will be a different game. Damn, you're a genius.

I thought we were taking turns to state the obvious, but hey... no problem I am glad to have been of some help. Enjoy those other games, some of them are real beauties.

Just remember to put the disk marked "BioShock" in the BioShock case and vice versa... this will make finding and playing them again at a later date significantly easier.

Oh, ok. I generally just put any game in any case no matter what they say on them. Then when I pull them out and play them again I just assume they are what the box says they are, I thought Fallout 3 was Halo 3 for a good 8 months!!! Good thing you're here to help!

I'm from the internet, and I'm here to help.

Don't feel too bad, I opened the box for BioShock 2 and for the first 5 hours I thought I had the Original BioShock DVD in the drive. So it happens to even the best of us from time to time.
