I think its good, because then we get more bang for our buck. It's smart of them to try and get all their game to the best it can be

Probably issues in the rapture ===> ocean gameplay transitions, and all physics involved in such a feat. If i had to guess. Everything else i've seen should be pretty much 2nd nature to 2k. Or possibly multiplayer issues.

Doesn't really bother me, it wasn't high on the list of games I'm expecting. Bioshock was kind of dissapointing, they stripped away a lot of the RPG elemts from the previous -shock games and so it was more of a cinematic FPS than an first person RPG.

I was excited till i saw an interview with the developer and it sounds like its going to be crap. Whats the fun in being a big daddy? Fun to fight yes, but way to cheap to be the main character.

It's perfectly reasonable. I mean 2k wants to maximize profit so there just moving it back a bit. We'll have plenty of stuff to hold us over until then and 2k we'll have a little extra time to buff and polish it.

I'm sure that the game is not going to be like running through with godmode on. Then again, it's probably not going to be much harder than the average console game anyways, which isn't all that challenging nowadays.

Bioshock was great despite being so easy you could beat the game by taping the joytick and trigger down, I did a run through just using the wrench it was hilarious.

If they would just not give it multiplayer for the "omg no online its they suxz" crown they could have finished it in time.

That said, its good.
Oh snap, forgot the game is going to have multiplayer. Yeah when I first heard I ignored it entirely. Wouldn't care about it, wouldn't ever go on it. I've tried online multiplayer before and the users resorted to using hacks and cheats to butcher the game *COUGH TEAM FORTRESS 2 COUGH* and suffice to say it wasn't 'fun'.
Meh, I may be surprised. It could be just a neat little extra on an already great single player experience.
And I heard they would have much more enemies to compensate for the Big Daddy transformation. But then the action-orientation alarm went off. I fear that Bioshock may scrap the horror aspect and go for the in-your-face mindless Halo malarky (which isn't a bad thing, but it may destroy what made Bioshock so good).

If it gives them time to make the game better, then why not? I think it will be beneficial. In the meantime we can still play Bioshock while waiting impatiently.

i honestly don't care. 2K will make it up in someway. theres no reason to get mad. look at the delay for the PS3 version of Bioshock 1. They added extra features.

As long as it comes out good or better then the first I am cool.

Note: Valve your ruining low on time for that last part of Half-life 2 to come out. You might want to put something like LFD2 on the back burner for a while to finish it.

I've only had one real thought on the subject.

Long ago I had come across some "Best Game of 2009" idiot topic, to which the popular choice was BioShock 2. Hearing the news filled me with immense glee at their ill placed faith.
