I didn't mean for it to sound like it was a personal attack, im saying theres a group of people who think that adding multiplayer to a game is automaticly a bad thing.

for example when I was argueing ninja gaiden should have multiplayer, and how the fights agianst "evil ryu" proves it could work well. They just kept going on and on about how it would detract from single player.

If the company who makes the game is any good at all they won't skimp on the single player just becuase they added a new mode.

I think that they should not have made a multiplayer mode. I think they should have just added a secondary non-multiplayer mode in to detail the fall of Rapture instead of adding the story into a multiplayer mode that feels unnecessary.

I'm I massive BioShock fangirl, and I have no expectations for BioShock 2. I all lost hope after i found out that Ken Levine wouldn't be working on it.

I've been waiting since I first heard about it, many months ago. I have long forgotten it for Arkham Asylum, Beatles Rock Band, and Modern Warfare 2. Bioshock 2 is so far off that I've already forgotten of it and no longer care for it.

Well at least this extra time will be used to make it better, but still....

We'll see if it just as good an experience as the first one It's certain hit but ocourse it's not as fresh as the first one was. Just hope they don't pull another F.E.A.R. 2 on us.

As for the Big Daddy part, you play the first big daddy ever, so chances are you are not a lumbering final version as we saw in the original.

I'm lookin foward to it, the first ones attempt at having you play dress-up and then saying your a Big-Daddy put a dissapointed taste in my mouth, considering the thoughts that went into my head when she said "You must become a Big Daddy."

Needless to say i'm lookin foward to being the real-deal.

I like the fact that they handed the multiplayer over to another company that knows how to do multiplayer and that it has a story to it and isn't just random deathmatch.

I hope the Big daddy isn't a gimmick to draw in fans, hopefully it has meaning in terms of the story. I really don't want Vita-chambers back, they made the game too easy.

I hated the first one, I'm going to hate the second one...

Unless of course they gave it an inventory, proper choices and a real RPG system whilst I wasn't looking...

I am definitely going to try it out. Of course, I am one of the grimy heathens of gaming who think that playing as a Big Daddy could be kind of fun...

I'm optimistic that they'll pull it off and even if it's not as good as the first it'll probably still be worth a look.

Im really looking forward to it, and i guess even if the multiplayer isnt great they wanted to make a great single player game in the first place so that should still be amazing

My thoughts about it can be summed up in one word: unnecessary. I mean, I was kind of interested when the rumor was that you'd be playing a grown-up, post-Rapture Little Sister having wacky mutant adventures on land--you know, when it looked like it'd be taking a new direction. The more I read about it, though, the more it started to look like a needless retread created for the sole purpose of wringing more cash out of the Bioshock title. And then I heard somewhere that there might be more sequels after this one, and all I could think was that this might very well turn out to be the gaming industry's answer to the seemingly-endless Saw movie series.

I'm going to believe that this game will be as good compared to it's prequel as System Shock II is to its own.

(I am also going to be very disappointed)

I would describe the elusive creature as a video game developer that is very learned in computing, yet feels very strongly about the game, and so goes out under the cover of darkness and proxies, spreading the word about the game and gathering data on improvements to make.

So basically, someone scouting the internet for tips on making the game?
