So I was lurking in the User review section (I don't know how to add links but check it out) and caught hold of a Bioshock 2 preview thread. This is possibly my second most sought after game after God of War 3 and I can't help feel pumped for February 9th. Does anyone else have the shakes from waiting for a highly anticipated game or is it just me?

I feel the same way about Bioshock 2.
I've been waiting for it for the past few months, and I'm drooling over it at present.

My apologies, I'm such a Bioshock fanboy.

well for me id bend over backwards and say to bioshock 2 "IN MAH BUTTOCKS!!"...

yeah i cant wait for it, ive seen so much already from the game designers (previews, and such) but with their constant delays i was getting quite pissed off (they first said the release would be last year october time)

but dont get me wrong i have forgivven them for that, since it looks so nice and the story looks so compelling.... i may still have to bend over backwards for the game and make my own big daddy outfit to finalize my obsession lol

I really need to let that out. These next few days are going to end me, I know it.

I think it kind of sucks that it comes out the day before my dance. I hate that I'm going to have to tell my date that I won't be able to make it for uh...family reasons.

I was extremely hyped for it since hearing of it's release, but recently my car broke down, as such I have been pre-occupied the last couple of weeks and it has drifted from my mind slightly.

Until today when I was shown this video in the Escapists 'Cult of Rapture' group by Ramthundar:
Now my excitement is back up to 10 again.

I considered buying the special edition of the game but decided against it as I just know that I would look at the art book once and then never look at it again. The music, while excellent only really works with the game itself (in my opinion) so I have no need for a CD/Vinyl of the soundtracks. The posters are bad, I would have liked them to have been of characters/Rapture, maybe in the style of the video posted above.

I've had BioShock 2 on pre-order since January last year, so yeah I'm fairy excited about it. I might even get the limited edition, if they have it in stock.

I am considering getting at least the Rapture edition so I can't wait. Also you should check the User review section for the BioShock2 preview thread I can't remember the OPs name but it should be easy to find. It's a gold mine of hype and drooling

The only thing that I didn't like when I read the Bioshock 2 preview was the fact that you'll have regenerating health like in Halo 3. I know it kind of makes sense considering you're a Big Daddy, but it would make more sense to me if auto-healed you with a hypo that you have to have in your possession (like in the first game with EVE hypos) once your health depleted.

The Rapture edition doesn't seem to exist in the UK so sadly I shall miss out on it. I already knew all the stuff mentioned in that article as I have been checking out articles and the official site (plus lot's of videos).

You get health kits just like in the first. Look at the screen shots and you shall see. Also, articles have mentioned the need to stock up on health kits before large battles.

Ah, very good then. I fail to see a problem with this game then, hopefully it stays that way once I get it.

Its not made by Irrational so I'm not interested. It's like if someone other than Lucas made the Star Wars prequels.

Actually that may have been better, now that I think about it.
