Seriously though the 2nd one was bad enough a 3rd game will completely ruin the magic of the first.

yes the ending where she is crying after draging your body to the edge of the water.Fenreil said:I've never heard of the endings having specific names, so do you mean what I call the True Neutral ending? (Choosing to sacrifice yourself in the neutral ending selection). That was my favorite too. So poignant and bittersweet, much better than the flower child and crazy psycho ***** of the good and evil endings, respectively.jamesworkshop said:Since you seem to be one of the few that understood the plot what was your favourite ending
For me I think the Abandoned ending was the best both delta and sophia dead
Also, that ending leaves Eleanor as more of a blank slate. If Bioshock 3 were to continue with her, that would be the ending they'd use.
Well I can kick you in the nuts but you dont have to complain either. Its not the fact that I have to play or not its the fact they took what was a great game and ruined it by trying to drag it out. A third game will ruin the first completely if the 2nd was anything to go by. Its more a case of doing whats right.martin said:You don't have to play it.DividedUnity said:DO NOT MAKE BIOSHOCK 3 PLEASE NO!!!!

Haha, just don't pay attention to the games if them existing bothers you so much. Also, you're forgetting that quality of game is also opinion. Others may think that the second is equal to if not better than the first. So they would understand doing "What's right" as giving them more of 2 games which they really enjoyed.DividedUnity said:Well I can kick you in the nuts but you dont have to complain either. What about Isaac's discovery of his tongue in Dead Space 2? It wouldn't be unheard of...Nomanslander said:As for Eleanor appearing in a third game it would be a better stretch since we already have two games with vacuous expressionless characters and now we would have something to go by. But then again BS protagonist is suppose to be that way, it's in the Half-Life school of shooters whether people like it or not.
I would hate a prequel. Sure, seeing Rapture all new and shiny would be fun, but only for about 5 seconds. A prequel just wouldn't have the same atmosphere, which is a large part of the Bioshock games. In addition, there would have to be many more NPCs, as walking around empty streets in pre-war Rapture isn't very likely. That wouldn't be so bad if this wasn't Bioshock, where NPCs are avoided as much as possible. They're only ever seen in different rooms (or otherwise unavailable for interaction), or are there to be killed.Mercurio128 said:If they were to do a third game I'd very much like to have at least a part of it set in a completely pre-fall rapture. Like in its first year. One idea would have you as an agent of Andrew Ryan, tasked with investigating a 'disturbing new trend' i.e. people splicing up and your (ultimately pointless) attempts to stop things getting out of hand.
This is a really good idea, however. Much better than the whole "ADAM ghost" thing.Mercurio128 said:Or even just have the player be a rapture native who has occasional flashbacks to when things weren't so batshit insane (i.e. you walk into fort frolic and get to spend a few minutes wandering around it in its glory days, before you snap out of it and see it for what it really is).
Yeah but think about it, that means those devs would have to write dialogue for Isaac then!! I mean you do remember the dialogue for the rest of the crew in that game right?carnkhan4 said:What about Isaac's discovery of his tongue in Dead Space 2?
