It's made by the original creators of Bioshock (Irrational Games) and the trailer looks really impressive so... What do you think?

In all honesty, I'm gonna treat it like I did when I got my first flying mount in WoW. Get as high as possible, then jump and see what happens. XD

I'm not excited, unless they make some big improvements over Bioshock I'll pass.

I think it looks cool. But I'm gonna wait to form an opinion until I see actual gameplay and they reveal more about the story.

Yea, I'm gonna wait to see what reviews say about it (primarily because of how ripped off I felt for buying Bioshock 2), my hunch right now is that it will be mostly the same stuff re-tweaked and instead of being underwater you're just in the sky. Even then sky vs water doesn't seem like a real change because you really didn't do much underwater anyways, you stomped from point A to point B in both Bioshock 1 & 2, not like there was some cool mechanic or fights under water, it was just scenery.

...don't give me that look, you know that with someplace as high as they showed in the trailer, they'll have at least one 'jump this series of oddly shaped platforms or fall to your death' sequence.

I just hope when you DO fall to your death, they let you see all of what's around you as you're falling. That'd be a nice touch.

Well... It does have potential, but i need to know more about it.
One big thing Bioshock 2 needed was a new environment and Infinite seems as far flung from Rapture as possible.
One constant necessary: plasmids. It wouldn't be bioshock otherwise.

Perhaps multiple storylines would be interesting...

That I'll hate it just like I hated the first one. Guess I'll never know for certain though since I won't buy it.

Well, I hope there's more freedom to wander and explore...that was severely lacking in the previous games, and Mr. Levine was hinting at such in an interview.
Beyond that, I like it though my first reaction was "UGH whats with all the flags?!".
Then I read it was about the eventual corruption of the U.S. ideology, and that's when I got on board.

As in, I'm adopting the same general sentiments as them, but not their direct points.

I liked one
I liked two
I imagine I'll like three.

When I first saw the trailer, I just about wet myself (pathological fear of falling). Other than that, I'm really looking forward to seeing what the deal is with the whole American thing. That, and as a friend put it, everything is just better with airships.

The first 3 times maybe.

Perhaps add a skippable feature, you can look around as you fall for a certain time, but if you press any buttons besides the device used to look around, it skips to your respawn.

I most definitely agree. Cookies are delicious.

And the game looks pretty interesting. I'll check the reviews closer to the release date.

Yup, looks like they are jumping on the Steam Punk bandwagon, no pun intended. But there is definitely the risk of it winding up a platformer which would go against the feel of the original Bioshock. But Alan Wake ramps up the spooky factor by having you risk falling off of the cliffs or into the river and it worked. So I will look forward to this one!
