While I can't really express my delight at the news of the new DLC other than various squees and ermigerds (I... Will admit to squeeing at this. This is squee-worthy.)
I was worried what direction they'd take the DLC. And was hedging my bets on a season pass. Now that I see they plan to do some fun things for it I'm on board.

Bioshock Infinite was one of the few games I anticipated and obsessed over before release. And I'm glad they're doing the same with the DLC.

Whaaaat?

That's crazy. I mean, it's awesome and I'm looking forward to it and I'm curious as hell to see how they do it, but it's also crazy.

Not so impressed with this 'Clash in the Clouds' thing though. Sounds like hoard mode basically. I'll check it out, but, well... meh.

I wonder how they'll handle playing as Elizabeth. Will she just be running, gunning and slinging plasmids? That would be kinda weird. Can she still open tears, since this is obviously an alternate world? So many questions!

Honestly... I'll buy the season pass, and get a few hours of fun out of clash in the clouds at the very least. It looks like they just wanted to make a playground for the toys they worked hard on without having the story get in the way of the action. And I'm willing to give that a shot. The action was well designed and polished. And I am sure the clash stuff will too.

The horde mode thing seems kinda... well, it's a horde mode. Big whoop.
Interesting in the whole back to Rapture thing though. More Bioshock is not a bad thing.

Now that is damnably interesting. I love noir fiction, and I'd love to see Rapture at its apex. Then of course they have a gorgeous depiction of Liz that is playable? Hell the fuck yes.

I'm really curious about Rapture DLC. I so want to see the Rapture before the fall and all, to see how it functioned, to see big daddies casually walking around and stuff.

Oh look, horde mode.

And you wonder why OP the gaming industry is in such distress. I'm being sarcastic, They've got people like you figured out.

I honestly haven't been this excited about DLC since Old World Blues for New Vegas.

The Horde mode seems ok BUT HOLY MOTHER OF GOD THAT STORY DLC TRAILER. What get's me even more excite is that in Part 2 you play as Elizabeth. Other then it takes place in rapture, of course. But still.

Part 2 better not come in like, a year.

That story stuff sounds awesome, I am very interested. The Elizabeth gameplay sounds really cool and unique, I hope you can bring in dinosaurs or something crazy. It would also be cool if they used most of Bioshock's gameplay like keeping all weapons, but it wouldn't be a dealbreaker, I kinda liked the 2 weapon thing. I would typically only use a couple weapons anyway, mainly wrench.

Since Elizabeth has presumably her full powers because the vacuum isn't there, does that mean she will be totally overpowered? That would be fun to play actually.

WHAT!? When did this happen? Oh screw it, KEN! MY MONEY! TAKE IT!

On a more serious note, this does look really good. It looks like it's an alternate universe (A concept that Infinite set up PERFECTLY!) where Booker and Elizabeth live in Rapture and not Colombia. Elizabeth looks a lot older too.

And you just kind of knew that people were using complicated things like plasmids to do mundane things like light smokes.

I just about did a spit-take after Booker lit that cigarette.

Not because it was funny (well, it was kind of funny).

But because it was just... so perfect.

So 2k is aware that arena mode exists. Now the question, WHY CAN'T THEY FORCE ONE OUT FOR BORDERLANDS 2?? :p

Seriously though, I joined you in 'squee'ing my way through the under the sea trailer. IT WILL BE AWESOME. Also, why would you ever buy a season pass before some of the DLC is released? It doesn't go up in price once part of the package is out, lol.

You know, I've been waiting to see someone light up a smoke with the fire plasmid since the first Bioshock came out.
Looking forward to seeing how Burial at Sea turns out.

The story DLC trailer of Bioshock Infinite really impressed me.

I can't wait to get my hands on it, I was hoping we would see Rapture again so I'm very giddy to go into that world again.

Okay. Infinite number of worlds, all things possible, noir mystery in 1958 Rapture, fine. I'm down for that.

If it all comes down to "Choice in a video game is a contrivance" as the central point again... @#$% you, Levine. Find another subject line.
