The main strength of this game isn't the replayability or the RPG elements. It's the open ended combat, the atmosphere, and the brilliant story. They're what makes this game one of the best I've ever played.IcemanFreeze said:It turns out I still have a bit of change left in my paypal account, and I was wondering if Bioshock would be worth purchasing for 20 bucks? I've heard lots of good things about it, but I just want to know so certain things about it from other people.
1)Is there replayable? Will I want to play this more than one time through? It's not incredibly replayable. You'll get at least two playthroughs because of the good/evil thing with the Little Sisters. However, it's such a great game that you'll want to relive the story again.
2)Are there achievements for the PC version, know this, it can probably answer #1 No.
3)I keep seeing it under RPG? Is it really an RPG? From what I can remember from images and video from a while back, it looked more like an FPS style game or an Oblivion style game. It's mostly an FPS, but you can upgrade your character with tonics.
4)How long is it? 10-15 hours tops.
5)Would you recommend me getting it for 20$? and if not, can you think of any other games I could get off of Steam for under 30$? YES. BUY IT. It's an incredibly game with a great story and really interesting world. It's required playing.
1 It is somewhat re playable if only to use different plasmids and the sister choicesIcemanFreeze said:1)Is there replayable? Will I want to play this more than one time through?

I can't speak for Target, but I know my local Future Shop had the bundle for $20.Callate said:I only hesitate because I _think_ I may have seen Bioshock & Oblivion bundled together for $20 at Target (I may have been mis-remembering, though; it may have been more.) I will say without hesitation that Bioshock is one of the better games I've played in the last year, and one of the few that really "grabbed" me.
