That's unfortunate. its not an amazing game but its good enough, a decent bioware release. One could argue that they were reduced to this as a response to all the trolls dragging its score unreasonably low already, but you can't really counter fake reviews with more fake reviews <_<.
It's not; I think it's quite good. The problem is it has a very different focus from Origins, so the people who loved that game feel betrayed by BioWare.Taxman1 said:

I wouldn't say they're the only ones, but this does put the first signs of blemish on my vision of Bioware. They are no longer pristine in my eyes.

Is it just me or is Bioware really being aggressive on marketing their games, via television, comic books, toy figures, an upcoming web show, all this unlockable items mumbo jumbo, dlc, etc. Too much or no?
It is not as bad as people make it out to be, but the story is utter shit served with a complementary kick in the nuts. The gameplay itself isn't bad. It's just okay. Nothing world shaking, but good. The repetitive dungeon crawls are also pretty disappointing when we are talking about Bioware. The people who made fucking Mass Effect. I expected better then this.
Plenty of people, myself included, love Dragon Age 2. Most of the bad reviews are PC elitists who wouldn't admit a game being good if it's also good on consoles.
Well that's pretty low of them. Granted all the trolling around this game isn't helping, it isn't a masterpiece but the game is still lots of fun. Hell it's getting me to play through Origins again just so I can get some different dialogue for the DA characters.
Meh, its the usual shenanigans, besides after the constant score bombing I can kind of understand where they are coming from, but it still feels like they need to approach the problem a different way. I don't know maybe a side by side comparison video either proving the similarities between the two or something, because honestly its a fun game and I haven't had too many issues with it, besides the rather...lacking ending.
EA's marketing department needs to get fired. I can't help but think that this was their idea.

I don't even wanna call it douchey, cause it's just SAD...
What did they think this was going to accomplish anyway(No such thing as bad press, maybe?). It's not like one positive review is going to change the reception.

I'm a tad confused, I reread the article (and it's source) a couple times just to make sure I didn't miss anything blatantly obvious. But one guy who works at bioware, and is probably just angry about all the stupidity going on with DA2, decides to write his own counter review to the trolls and now suddenly it's this huge Bioware/EA conspiracy to dupe people into buying the game?
Was it stupid of him? Yes. Should he have done it? No. But I must be missing the connection point where big brother attempted to dupe us all into making uninformed choices.
