I going with the first image (black hair) since to me it look right for some unkown reason (the others still look alright on her).

Look it's not like I don't like the other hair colors, they're all great in their own way and I'm leaning towards the brunette or black out of personal preference. However, this just seems like they're taking the people who argued "Shepard can't be a blonde because blondes are idiots" angle seriously. Out of principal, I have to vote for the blonde Shepard now. (And I'm not even blonde myself)

Completely going for the red-head. I fucking love red-heads.. coincidentally, my FemShep is a red-head. Who knew!?

The red-haired Shepard is actually pretty close to my character, so I'll go with her.

Or at least I would if there was a way to vote that didn't involve bloody Facebook. Pox on your house Bioware.

Gotta admit, they all look pretty good. The hair definately looks better than the usual female hair options. As for which color I'd want to win, Im torn between blonde and redhead. Either way FemShep is still the best female character in gaming right now.

Also, it'd be nice if they could maybe patch ME1 and ME2 to include the new FemShep. I mean, it'd be kind of disappointing if the ONLY way to play as her would be to start a new game in ME3. You'd have a cool looking female Shepard, but what's the point of you can't influence the first two games with her?

I imagine a lot of people are going to be going back and replaying the first two games to see how it affects the third, so including the new official FemShep design to use in the first two would be a nice touch. I think so anyway.

I'm still bitter over the "hottification" of default shep (fem shep from ME1 and 2 was awesome), but given a choice to vote. I've gotta go with the redhead. or the blonde.

Can I take both?
As I said in a similar thread:

There actually isn't a "default" femshep. What you're thinking of is a character that was created by using the rather crappy sliders Bioware provided for custom character creation. However, default manshep was NOT created with said sliders, and is significantly higher res and better looking than "default" femshep. The goal is to have a default canon femshep that is a counterpart to manshep.
Some of us feel they are two games too late with that and that the particular way they are messing is pretty much degrading something that happened despite them.

Just my opinion

My Joanna Shepard is a redhead, so that's the FemShep I like best, but...she looks way too young. Like, really, THAT girl can save the universe?

Who cares? Does anybody actually ever use the default Shepard face?
I do, i'd rather spend the first hour of the game playing it instead of making the character.

I can understand that. Since most people seem to already like femshep the way she is, I think that's why it appears the canon femshep will be a green-eyed redhead. I don't think Bioware initially realized how popular femshep would be - not that that's any excuse.

But I personally like the idea of having a femshep that's looks as nice as manshep, and I mean in terms of resolution, not "hotness." And if you don't personally like it, you can still have your custom character.

So... doesn't everyone win?
