I myself have my birthday in March, though I have a lot of relatives and friends who are breaking their personal records of "Years lived" in Christmas season:

My cousin on December 10th,
Another cousin on December 17th,
a good friend of mine also December 17th,
my parents on the 27th and 29th
and I've got two close friends that are born on January 2nd and 3rd.

Parties everywhere!

Mine is the 12th of Jan. I used to dislike having a birthday so close to Christmas as a child because it was all celebrated as just one occasion but now that I'm older I really don't mind.

Oh crap, I forgot. I got the reissued Smashing Pumpkins albums, "Gish" and "Siamese Dream". In both special edition CD and in vinyl. I enjoy them very much. So yeah...what did get?
My birthday is in November, so not close enough to Christmas to ever cause a conflict really. I just wanted to commend you on both your taste in music, Gish and Siamese Dream were great ablums, and the fact that you listen to them on vinyl. I'm 26 and people think it's odd that I listen to albums on vinyl. Just a suggestion since you apparently like good music, you might like Tom waits if you haven't listened to him. I'd suggest Rain Dogs, Bone Machine, and Blood Money. Again, just a suggestion, and happy birthday.

And shit, if a remaster of Siamese Dream is out on vinyl I might have to pick it up.
Thanks for the recommendations. I'll give those a listen sometime. And I'll also make it easier to get the SP stuff: http://www.smashingpumpkins.com/

Can't wait for the rest of the albums coming out later.

My sister's birthday is ON Christmas. She usually gets a decent amount of stuff, but I always forget to get her two gifts >.>
Holy crap apples, batman! Someone with a worse birthday than mine o_O

Mine's two days after christmas, which I see as a kind of mixed blessing. My family's not exactly what you'd call well off (quite the opposite, in fact), so it's more unusual for me to get christmas AND birthday presents. I feel this actually helped me be somewhat less materialistic, although I won't lie and say that it didn't hurt as a young child.

Mine's on the 14th. Far enough away that I get, or used to get, separate presents for each. My mum's was the 20th, but I still get her separate things anyway.
