So full of win.

But then again, it is Georgia, so there's like a 70% chance he's doing it just to satiate his racism.

I will continue to resent the increasingly popular internet attitude that money should somehow dehumanise you. No-one deserves to be beaten up in their own home by someone they love. End of story.
Yeah! How does lavishing in extravagant crap while there are people who have nowhere to live make someone any less human? I think it's a perfectly legitimate way to spend the money you earned by doing things that benefit society.

At any rate, this is about other people's perspectives, not the victim's. It is of course a bad thing to get beaten by your partner, but success is a relevant factor in how terrible an ordeal is to you.

I like to think of your financial state of being as a common denominator in all your life woes, the more money you have, the less impact your woes should have on you. For example 1/10 is much bigger than 1/1000. And that is how stress works to an extent, how stressful a situation is based on a variety of factors and variables in your life, money being one of them.
uhhh...yeah, no I dont agree

getting beaten up is getting beaten up, if there are OTHER problems on top of that from lack of money..then sure

but your not thinking about your diamond earings while your BF is beating the shit out of you..its still traumatic

or thats like saying a women married to a wealthy man who lives in a mansion shouldnt be too upset if shes being abused

I would say that it's wrong, or in poor taste, or whatever...

But I'd by lying if I said that that it didn't give me a chuckle, so... whatever.

I think the real thing that matters here is, is that sandwich any good? Then we can decide if its' tasteless.

It is in bad taste. And I fucking love it.

I shall visit this restaurant one day.
Clearly the most sensible answer possible, now we raise awareness for domestic violence AND News stories that should not be news stories

EDIT: Also, on topic, I think black comedy goes too far when it's based on real life. However, it probably drummed up some publicity for them, so it served its purpose.
I agree, just because someone has a lot of money doesn't make him/her a monster. No, their actions determine that.

OT: I wonder why it's called "Black and Bleu"?

...

Aw geez I just got the joke. Not sure whether I should laugh or feel bad. :(

I find it funny. Hey, if people can overlook a guy beating his girlfriend till she spits blood out her mouth, because he released a song you like, then how can you get upset over the name of a sandwich?

Eh, I dunno. If's mocking Rihanna being physically attacked, it feels likes it's mocking all domestic violence victims (Women and Men)

Trivializing domestic violence is a horrible thing to do, the fact that it's Rhianna being referenced is really not the issue here.

Still, it's great business. You just know this guy's going to get a ton of media attention for this, and that'll drum up customers better than any advertising campaign. People will line up around the block to try a sandwich if it's "controversial."

I have no problem with this because it seems some people need to be reminded of that incident since Chris Brown performed fucking twice at the Grammies

I see no problem, trading your privacy for celebrity stardom is not a hidden factor and I believe any aspect of it is in line for public use and consumption. That is part of the job description these days.

Whether this is tasteful, I would say no, but I think the two that would be 'affected' by this are made of sterner stuff than to allow a sandwich to bother them.

They don't need looking after, and for those worrying about it trivialising other domestic violence; how? If this is all it takes in your eyes than that is an issue with your perspective. It's a sandwich, not a PSA to beat your girlfriend/wife.
