Grash smiled as Kabreeg lumbered out of the shadows and barked "Kind welcome brother, good to see grunts of your caliber around these days."
He then extended a large tough hand and shook Kabreeg's firmly, "We'll be having three humans, one Hrogean and a robot, although from what I've heard one of those humans is hard to define, we will see." He said as he stepped back and gestured to a seat in front of Grash and slightly to the right. "Don't worry, these humans are well suited, they were hand picked by myself and will do." he remarked as if reading Kabreegs mind.

 

[Athol]

Approaching the two Kraxex, Theran linked with the city's infonet, pulling up what he could on the individuals. Stopping short, he looked up at the men. [small]"YOU ARE GRASH LEADER OF THIS EXPEDITION."[/small] He said in a flat matter of fact tone. [small]"AND YOU ARE KABREEG, HEAVY FIRE ELEMENT."[/small]

Staring at them through emotionless electronic eyes, Theran studied the warriors for a moment before wirelessly linking with his labs systems, to carry on one of his experiments.

Keal's jetpack flared as he pulled up at the edge of the courtyard, his armour half on. Keal smacked his metal gauntlet against his shoulder, knocking the armour piece into place. Angel trotted up beside him, in her smooth metal suit. He smiled at his pet, and she barked back. He walked out into the courtyard still struggling with his armour. By the time he got to the two Kraxex and the weird robotic Hroge, he had finally slipped all of it into place but tucked his helmet under his arm. As he finally walked up, he made sure his rotating blasters were locked in then stuck his hand out.

"My name's Keal, I take it you're Grash?"

The sounds of heavy breathing and sparking wires became apparent, along with a soft whirring noise. William floated towards the others gently, and landed with the main group. He remained silent for a second, and studied the group in his head.Two Krakex? that's a double edged sword, good meat shields though. Another cyborg, seemingly Hroge based? Will pester for upgrades and modifications to self and augments. A boy and his dog. GRREEEEAAT.

"I assume this is the expedition?"

I this is? Lol, may wanna change. By the way, just to remind everyone, Angel is a PET. Not an attack dog. She may be coming with us if we have some sort of base or ship that is safe or she will stay back in the city. Either way, she won't fight unless it's the only thing she can do. Not that a dog can do much against frickin' insane future crazy monster robots. Her bark is worse than her bite. Literally.

Keal turned and saw what looked like a Sentry Bot crossed with a human. "Damn mate, aren't you pretty?" He looked the robotic human thing up and down before saying,

"I'm Keal... Mr... erm... robot..."

 

[The Clown]

Grash raised his hairless brow as the armoured man tread into the courtyard, the faint sound of metal brushing against metal and hailed greetings before crouching to pet the dog with one large finger. "Hello Keal, good to see you landed well." He then turned to the two silent cyborgs and greeted them both in turn then replied to Theran "Yes, I am Grash and that is Kabreeg welcome machinists, we are still waiting on a couple of people." He then took a step back, watching the skies.

 

[InkBlot Royalist]

Kabreeg passed an eye over the assembled "Soldiers". He sniffed contemptously. Hardly a blade in sight. They'd probably send him and Grash off infront, spray anything that looked like a threat with lead and materialise on the front line when the cameras rocked up. And by front line, he meant just infront of Kabreeg, blocking the view.
The Karaxex turned his full attention on the cyborg-Hrorges thing. Pathetic. Still, if he had a body as pathetic as theirs he'd want to escape it too.
shaking his head sadly he looked at the human with the noisy and extravagant jetpack
"A dog." He stated bluntly, before raising a bald eyebrow "Really?"

 

[Athol]

Finishing with his experiment, Theran took notice of the new arrivals. Hmm, Human based cyborg...interesting. I must find an opportunity to study human/cybernetic augmentations. Crude work though. The human in flight capable armour was of little interest, but his animal piqued Theran's curiosity.

He'd seen humans with various quadrupeds, avians, and reptiles, but could never understand what the benefit was. Approaching Angel, his facemask opened to reveal several different types of scanners, each one of them probing the dog and armour for information. Reaching the animal, he deployed the manipulators in his left hand, and used them to provide a firm grip on the dog's 'collar'. With the grip in place he easily lifted the now struggling and barking creature and began to use the manipulators in his right hand to probe the armour directly.

I never said she was an attack dog, I fixed that before you ever posted it and it would likely be a good idea to put your quote in a spoiler.

William observed the other cybernetically enhanced being, and tutted inwardly. Even as an A.I simply masquerading as a human, he knew there were certain things you didn't do to a certain pair of creatures. For a boy and his dog, that was mistreat the dog, or attempt to, or threaten to. Don't do anything to the dog. This was going to be troublesome surely.

He looked upon the judgmental and disdainful glare of the Krakex, the one that wasn't the expedition leader. It would become clear he would also made this a tense and difficult expedition, probably a remnant of the war, bitter and prideful. While they waited, he ran some basic diagnostic checks of his systems.

 

[Tiger Sora]

Light footsteps echoed through a small passageway to the secluded courtyard. They belonged so a small Erian women. Ahead she could see several people gathered, with the weapons they had it was defiantly them. Calia entered the courtyard, crossing over to them. "Calia reporting in commander Grash". She gave off a salute, not crisply like a real soldier. But any sign of respect she gave off was what you were gona get. The Kraxex was a giant compared to her, everyone was much taller than her. It was a typical scene everywhere ever she went. "Ok done reporting in"! Calia jumped up onto the back of a bench, gaining some height so she wouldn't have to stain her neck. Her balance was amazing given she was just standing on a thin piece of metal. The whole act was a bit childish, running off from the commander of the military without even letting him respond. Her nature was what it is though. They'd just have to accept it which Grash had to of known about the way she acted given her position to her uncle, the Erian clan leader. Or maybe he didn't care and was only interested in her skills.

Keal turned as he heard yelping. He saw the hroge cyborg mash had lifted Angel up and was doing something to her. Angel was barking louder and louder. "You god damn robot! I'm gonna tear your wiring out!"

Keal ran straight at the cyborg Hroge and swung his fist at it. He swore as his fist recoiled and did nothing. He tucked his shoulder in and gunned his jet pack, flying straight along the ground and smashing into the cyborg with his shoulder. As he collided, he flicked his wrists and the rotating blasters locking into place.

 

[Athol]

As Keal rocketed towards him, Theran dropped the dog and attempted to evade. He was nearly successful in the attempt, but still caught the charging human in the shoulder, causing him to stumble. Rolling out of the fall, he retracted the scientific equipment and deployed the mass driver.

"[small]IF I HAVE UPSET YOU HUM...KEAL, I APOLOGIZE. I AM UNFAMILIAR WITH HUMANS. IF YOU FORCE THIS ATTACK HOWEVER I WILL ENGAGE WITH LEATHAL FORCE.[/small]" He stated, the weapon in his right arm locked onto Keal's center mass. "[small]ALSO FOR CLARIFICATION, I AM A HROGE CYBORG NOT A ROBOT.[/small]" In his mind the matter was finished, so Theran lowered his weapon and re-linked with his lab to check on some stuff.

Dude, know the difference between me and Athol. Yes our characters are both Cyborgs, but he's a hroge, and I even JUST commented on him being socially unacceptable.

The Hroge and the dog owner had been here less than a minute and were already causing trouble. Kabreeg sighed, what could you do? The bouncy female was an unexpected arrival he had to admit, he'd been expecting...well, not that. The robot seemed to have backed down from the scuffle, but all the same, he looked to Grash for a moment, then shrugged
"Want me to break it up?" He asked, completely indifferent to the answer

 

[The Clown]

"No, let them sort out their differences how they see fit, I know from experience that being broken up is degrading and I hate it, the three dead guards know that now." He chuckled and then continued to say to everyone " We're missing but one, then we may begin, until then please try not to cripple each other."

They certainly had fire in them to different degrees, lets see if it can burn through lead and steel.

 

[Ultraman950]

A tall woman in white appears in the sky, rocketing down before Grash and the group. At the last moment, she flipped herself over, landed daintily on her feet, and deactivated her rocket boots. Her hair wisped about behind her as her shiny green eyes scanned everyone present carefully. Her expression remained blank.

She shook some dust off her long white coat as she spoke in a voice that sounded human enough, but something was... off about it. "BETHANY is reporting for duty."

 

[Athol]

The arrival of the newest member brought Theran 'back' from his lab. Approaching BETHANY he walked slowly around her, his on board sensors probed for as much information as they could. Stopping in front, he looked up at her. "[small]YOU ARE A HUMANOID NANOTECH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE. WHERE WERE YOU CREATED? ARE YOU A 'HIVE MIND' CONSTRUCT, OR DO YOU POSSES A LOGIC CORE?[/small]"

Theran's mind boggled at the machine before him. He'd heard the other where exploring the concept of a nanotech A.I., but he had no idea anybody had actually built one. This is impressive. He thought, while sorting through the data he'd collected. The level of sophistication required on the individual nanite level is immense. I must try to acquire a sample for study. "[small]WHERE WOULD I BE ABLE TO AQUIRE YOUE TECHNICAL DATA, AND A SAMPLE OF YOUR NANOBOTS?[/small]"

 

[Ultraman950]

BETH eyed the formerly-organic construct as he scanned her, and did some scans of her own, but remained friendly.

"You are correct. All nanites of the BETHANY model are connected to a positronic core. All other inquiries require access to classified information. You are not cleared to receive this information. Or my nanites."

She said the last part rather defensively.

 

[Tiger Sora]

"Hey I remember you"! Calia jumped off the bench. She took a three hundred and sixty degree view around the nano-robot. "I saw you about two years ago in the lab when I was in the vents. Do you remember seeing me, or maybe you don't. I do look different now". She ran two fingers down her cheek tattoos. "I was allowed there though". Calia remembered that Beth was made for law enforcement. "It is strange though I haven't seen you since. Could just be bad odds, or maybe I was to be kept from you till now". Calia took a step back from Beth and tilted her head. Her cheek was twisted up making her left eye squint. It was a weird view she received on the robot, something of amusement to her.

Shit, sorry. I must of been damn tired to make a mistake that stupid. Will go back and fix. However, when my character speaks he may still say robot (or rust bucket)as he doesn't give a crap about the difference between aliens and humans and robots and cyborgs. This may lead to some problems, but in the non-talking parts I shall try to refer to you as cyborgs.

Keal stared at the gun-arm that was aimed at him and released a breath he didn't realise he had been holding when it turned away. He clicked his blasters back and looked around. The new arrival was a huge women. There was something off about her, but then she was an android. Keal looked around again, and making sure Angel was close, walked up to the other human.

"So, me and you are the only humans here? Apart from the rust buckets of course."
