People though Half Life Source was done poorly. Black Mesa source is HLS done right.

Episode 3 will come out, the BMS team will decide to start over on the updated engine, and it'll come out a week after Duke Nukem Forever

No, it's a completely independent team separate from valve(at least I'm pretty sure it is). It is a basically mod.

Yes, but they did a pretty shitty job of porting HL1 into Source. The lighting and gameplay really sucked compared to what Black Mesa is doing with its version of HL1.

Why would you want it?
Just play the original game...
If you really want to.
But there are plenty of other better games out there than the Half Life series.

Looks like somebody got killed by a few too many headcrabs.
