I had my suspicions by the time we reached the downed plane in the jungle. Once everything was made clear, I enjoyed the revelation. I bought it as a crazy paranoid-conspiracy thriller, which nicely set it apart from the other COD titles. I expected it, but I liked it.

It was a real surprise to me I loved seeing reznov working with mason to get his revenge against those pricks, but when I played revelation, I was a bit saddened, at least mason gave Reznov the revenge he wanted.

I had half guessed it when I noticed the numbers showing up around Reznov's coming and going, particularly in the 'Nam levels.

Surpising, on the Call of Duty wikia, it says they're the same character.

The further I got into the game the larger the feeling got that Reznov was an illusion.
Stil, i didn't mind hearing Reznov's voice over and over again. That dude is a damn good motivator.

You got to give them credit it was very well implemented, I thought nothing of him popping up at random moments to save me. I liked those QTEs like open the helicopter door and moving that ammo box, to think that the thought of resnov gave him the strength to perform these acts.

The one thing I don't get is when he melees that VC up high in the rat tunnel I don't see how that couldve happened without him

Dimitri Petrenko is the main character of World at War. He's the Russian dude you play as in the fountain, sniping the Germans with Reznov.

When many, many people were stubbornly insistent that the mole in Hue city is dead, and then it turned out to be someone that could in no way of survived the Vorkuta escape, I was suspicious. It was obvious that there was a twist, and if I know that, I have to try and pick it apart; predict it. So I can't say I was that surprised.
When I started to think that Reznov post-Vorkuta was a figment of your imagination, I started paying attention to his physical actions. Other than various weapons, he doesn't interact with anything. And no-one ever shoots at him during the many firefights. So I kind of worked it out ahead of time. Go me, ruining the story for myself...
pretty much this, i sort of wondered, how the hell he would have escaped let alone lived after you jumped on the train, then i thought why would he be out here? and why am i the only one doing anything.

I thought it was kinda strange in that mission where you have to take out that guy with the hatchet, that whenever I got noticed, the guards would come and attack me and leave Reznov.
I thought it was an extremely clever twist, but then again, I haven't seen Fight Club, and I heard that movie has a similar twist.

(I also jumped out of my seat during the JFK footage right at the end when it zooms up to a guy in the crowd who looks very similar to Alex Mason.)

I didn't at first, as I was more excited over the idea of fighting alongside Reznov again. By the tunnel-level, though, I started to doubt if he was really there or not (especially due to that one Marine that you guys keep mentioning). Once he appeared out of nowhere at that underground POW camp, I pretty much knew that he wasn't real.

My friend sort of spoiled it to me. He mentioned the word "schitzophrenic" in relation to the main character and I guessed the twist pretty fast.

It's a mistake. Someone either vandalized the article or pays no attention to the Call Of Duty universe.

For shame.

It's sort of like how you saw him kill Steiner. You actually did it, but saw Reznov doing it.

I dunno, I think that's how it works.

I know. It's just that I take this wiki as a fairly significant source for CoD information and get really pissed off at such factualy mistakes, because they could only come from people who haven't actually played CoD 2. And if they haven't, why edit?

Oh, and I'm Russian. So, confusing one Dmitry (and, yes, it is Dmitry) with another sort of annoys me.

Well sorry, I myself got the names mixup. I was playing the SP on veteran and I didn't hear his last name.

Fight club was so amazingly awful, do yourself a favor and don't watch it.
I think 99% of the community would disagree with you there.

OT: I expected it. Mainly because I read the synopsis on Wikipedia.
