trying to get hold of a trench coat as well, simply because I love em. but i can't find a shop that sells them. Plus living in Floody and Cold England it would work nicely.

I have a grey coat myself. Came from the army. People call me lots of things when I wear it, some call me a Nazi, some call me a russian, some say I look like an assassin, some just say I look like I'm going to murder someone.

Eh, black used to be my thing (and still is when I get dressed up) but mostly I wear cool (spectrum-wise) colors and my steel-toed boots.

I do, however, own a tan duster that my dad used to own and gave to me on my 12th birthday and a black trench, both of which I have been known to wear during winter. I'm looking into getting a zip-in chain-mail liner for the black one to help me endurance train and for extra defense if I get jumped ('cause that's real likely to happen, ya paranoid).

I know people have said this many times so far, but if you're the one who wears it, then this cannot be said too many times. Why do you call that a robe? It's a coat. Do you not even know what you wear?

That being said, I have a grey coat myself. Came from the army. People call me lots of things when I wear it, some call me a Nazi, some call me a russian, some say I look like an assassin, some just say I look like I'm going to murder someone.
Please read my edit on the first post.

I've been looking for a leather version of that or something similar for years. I guess long, dark coats aren't very practical in Australia, but I still want one.

Again, a coat indeed, and I'd love to have one of those. I prefer the one from the OP over a leather one, leather is maybe a bit too metal for me. Although....John Crichton wears leather too. I have to over think this.

That's more of a coat/trench coat. You know what rocks...
