The first time I laid eyes upon Jim Sterling, my computer screen opened up to show the true nature of the internet. Rainbows, unicorns, butterflies, and all manner of video game characters danced around a beautiful field with a joy and rapture that I had never seen before. It was clear they were all celebrating something, but I had no idea what.
At once, they all stopped, and looked onward to one point within this great field. At first I didn't know why they had all chosen this one barren spot amidst a sea of green grass to focus their attention, but soon it became quite clear. First, a rumbling of the earth, then a slight cracking of the soil, and then...a humble sprout shot up. It was as if they had beckoned it into being.
Before my very eyes this sprout continued to grow and transform into a beautiful flower, stretching toward the heavens and growing to a monstrous size. After a few moments, the bud began to open while my new friends continued to look on with amazement. I really felt like I was there, experiencing this glorious moment with them all. And what was revealed as the petals of this beautiful flower opened up for us? Why, it was Mr. Sterling's face! Glowing and beaming at us all with a look of supreme grace that spoke to a most heavenly purpose! A raucous cheer erupted from the crowd, for this was truly a Christmas miracle of some sort that would surely stand unparalleled for the rest of time. We all rejoiced at the coming of the flower savior. "Thank God!" they all sang out at once, "Thank God for Jim!"
"I have come!" He said. "I have come to save you all from the perils that shall soon befall you!"
Anyway that's about when my power went out so I never found out what happened next.
