I'm not going to install bioshock 1 & 2 as son as my portable hard drive comes, I'm also not going to download the rest of the games in my steam library that won't work on OSX onto the drive.

Topaz isn't a mod now.

I'm not going to go see another movie in a little bit.

You shouldn't play New Vegas after that.
I don't think New Vegas is far superior! :D

I did not rent a Ratchet & Clank game. It sucks.
The Ratchet and Clank series isn't my second favorite series of all time. ^.^

New Vegas didn't add mods for weapons, it isn't actually difficult, the story doesn't actually connect to the other Fallout games, and many more.
Fallout 3 didn't take Fallout 1, 2, and Tactic's stories and just completely mess with them.
[sub]The plot holes dammit! >.<
Fallout 3 has more memorable quests, but New Vegas just offers way more in terms of replay-ability[/sub]

I don't like New Vegas because there's more you can do with customization and whatnot, but I dislike Fallout 3 because there felt like there was more to explore.[sub](granted there's only so much you can do when your setting is Vegas and the surrounding dessert compared to a large city like DC and the area north and west of it.)[/sub]

I played the other games too.
So would connectivity still matter if that was the case?
You would notice it.
[sub]If you know the stories of the other Fallouts then you'll be able to pick up on the inconsistencies. If not then you'll be fine.[/sub]

I still didn't prefer the Mojave Wasteland because of the lack of exploring subways.
[sub]That gets old really fast.[/sub]
