The Bass guitar is, contrary to popular belief, A medium sized water mammal native to England and some parts of Ireland.
This timid by nature electric animal is identified by its low and bassy mating call (Hence its name), which is what distinguishes it from its close cousin the Six string.
As the winter nears the Bass emerges from its summer slumber, his old strings having been shed allowing a new set to form around the tip of his neck and continue all the way down his body. These now in tune vocal cord like things allow him to communicate with others and warn his pack of danger.
It?s only just recently in this planets history, say the last eighty years or so, that this distinct and peaceful animal has began to flourish in the wilderness. So much so that humans have tried quite successfully to domesticate and breed basses as pets, but seeing one in the wild even when drinking from a stream or preying on the smaller and more venerable ukulele, that is the image of the bass that will be engrained into the minds of all musical animal enthusiasts.
