My grandfather didn't fall and break his hip yesterday. He also didn't wait a day to tell my parents that he had broken his hip yesterday.

My grandmother didn't break a hip. Nor did the hospital f*ck up proper procedure so that she was sent home to walk on a broken hip for a week. They didn't think it was just bruised and that there was no crack. They were right.

The hospital my grandfather went to did not put him on the maternity ward floor because they didn't have enough room, nor did they kick a women out of one of the rooms to put my grandfather in it.

He doesn't sound like me...
[sup]I don't like people fussing over me, so I keep injuries to myself unless they get really bad, such as my hand swelling and turning purple or me being unable to walk... Both of those examples are true stories...[/sup]

I wasn't surprised that an 85 year old man went through the pain of a broken hip while walking around his house for over a day.
[sub]I've actually never broken a bone, well I scratched one in an accident and now my right leg has a limp but that's it. He didn't tell anyone because it costs $400 to take the ambulance to the hospital when you have Medicare like he does.[/sub]
