Best way to deal with Tryn is soft CC. Slows and roots will keep him from healing up with his life steal, and force him to use Endless Fury before he's even into combat.
^That.
Ignite beats Tryndamere just fine, as does Exhaust.
I murder the shit out of him regularly in pubs. Though my favorite matchup is Blademail-Shen , later with Ghostblade or Shurlia's to chase when he spins away.
Most Tryndamere players hate taunts because they build him like a glass cannon.

Boone is the real hero of New Vegas. I'm just that dizzy, blonde tart who talks to people for him.
I genuinely laugh out loud at that comment. Well played.

On topic: I've always held true to the ideal that if you played as Oddjob in Goldeneye's multiplayer you're a dick.

Starkiller in The Force Unleashed. As I recall the most impressive act a Jedi or Sith performed with the force in the films was Yoda lifting the X-wing out of the swamp, Starkiller ripped a Star Destroyer in half, with his mind. Yoda would have needed to have been dead for several years for it to be half as impressive as ripping a Star Destroyer in half.

Oh man... the bad memories....I'm so lucky i ended up having the Force Push Glitch lock him in place for 45 minutes while Hawke slowly (very very very very...slowly) scratched that green bar away a hair at a time until he died.

The entire set of Chaos Heroes in Dawn of War II: Retribution (along with several others, but none nearly as bad as these guys), as with the correct skill allocation:

- Eliphas becomes ludicrously tough, gets an Aura that drains the life of nearby enemies and gives said life to him, has a chance of summoning a demon whenever he kills an opponent and has an AoE ability that does massive amounts of damage (which basically refills all his health to full as well.)

- Neroth can render any enemy completely unable to act for as a near-indefinite amount of time (any damage he takes while doing so goes to whoever he's holding, naturally) and can get an item that makes his powerful "Doombolt Volley" spell his default attack (which stacks with his "Doombolt Volley launches twice as many bolts" skill.) He can also create copies of enemy units.

- Varius gets a similar Aura to Eliphas's one, with the bonuses of healing nearby allies and having both allies and enemies who die whilst inside it (or enemies killed by him) resurrect as zombies.

- Kain can do massive amounts of damage from afar with Heavy Weapons and can, if equipped with a Lascannon, fire a MASSIVE beam of energy that near insta-kills any enemies caught in it. He can also replicate Varius's Aura for a short period of time.

The ACTUAL ARMY they have with them is just icing on the cake.

It's been awhile since I played a fighting game. But I remember the olden days of Soul Calibur II on Gamecube. Link had a grab that would send your opponent flying 10 feet the right, made throwing someone out of the ring incredibly easy. Started out being really annoying.

Eventually, when everyone played as Link and every round became intense parry, dodge and grab contests- it became hilarious.

UMvC3: Wesker
MvC3: Wolverine, Phoenix
SSF4 (old version): Sagat
Smash Brawl: Meta-Knight

I mained all of these characters except for Phoenix, too. I know, I'm a tier whore. Whatever.

Nearly all Multiplayer games has them. Characters that are just overpowered. They normally show up in Fighting games but can appear in other genres like Racing or FPS.

I got a couple good examples.

In Super Smash Bros Brawl this award goes to Sonic and his Final Smash. I am fairly certain his Final Smash is why Smash Orbs were banned in tourneys.

In Dragonball Z Budekai Tenkaichi 2 and 3 it would be Jenemba and Super Sayian 4 Gogeta. They are way too fast and powerful. Whenever me and my friends play 5 on 5 fights we normally have to ban them or Handicap the team using them so they have 3 instead of 5 characters to fight with.

Anyways do you got any characters that are just not fair to play with/against? Ones that basically break the game?
If you're playing with smash orbs, you really shouldn't be caring so much about balance, it's just for fun. Falco's final smash is pretty cheap. Also hilarious if you're using it.

OP weapons in recent games are any AK and the FAMAS, and thanks to quickscoping noobs a lot of sniper rifles have become game breaking too.

Mitsurugi in Soul Calibur... such a noob character.
Mitsurugi I disagree with. He takes skill to pull off his moves have decently. You want OP'd, pick someone like Seigfried. I remember in Soul Blade he had a combo that was Triangle triangle Triangle. Once he got you once with it you could keep spamming it and you couldn't do anything. O_O
No, thats cheap tactics... nothing to do with the character. Seigfried and Nightmare are slow but powerful with some decent range, unlike Mitsurugi who is powerful, fast and has range. People dont complain about Astaroth because he is just so fucking slow but he has probably the longest reach on the game, if you learn how to play as Astaroth you can play keep away with everyone, especially other slow characters as you have longer range. The only character who can fight Astaroth with distance was the chick with the Sword and Shield who could fire lightning... which, by the way, is annoying when you get spammed by that.
Nawh, I think you just need to get better at playing Mitsurugi. You can still take him out using heaps of different people. If you use your character the way they're ment to be used, and you do it well, then you can win most times.

I usually go the Koreany-guy, or the rip off from Hwrang from Soul Edge.

Moving away from games Kizaru from One Piece. Even if he is not made out to be the strongest, he is. If Oda actually made him use his abilities violently and seriously he would beat anyone anywhere.

Well that is not only present in Multiplayer games...

SP games with overpowered Characters: Ezio Auditore, Batman , Dante/Nero, Starkiller from SWFU2(bad game), Rico Rodrigas (just cause 2) etc

I don't know about Janemba (I personally found him maybe average, above-average at best) but I think Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta is definitely overpowered - well, aside from the fact that in-series, that's exactly the point. I reckon his pretty slow charge time was supposed to balance it out a bit, but it hardly matters when you can buff him up with quicker charge Potara. I'd also argue Goku (Mid) is a fairly overpowered character thanks to his move list - it's got the best balance of fast and powerful basic attacks, a Rush, a Beam and a massively powerful Finisher that can be powered up with Blasts.

Hi, I'm warmog Tryndamere, pleased to meet you.
Glad to see you cut your damage down vs the tank. Now Troll Shen doesn't even fear the random crit anymore! HE EMBRACES IT!

COME AT ME TRYND!

Heh...I kid.

Seriously though, I really hate trynda, he's not impossible to counter, but if you're playing someone with no CC (Like Master Yi, Sivir, Katarina or Shyvana), you're not getting out alive.
Yeah, that's called a "Poor matchup".
It's a process of roles, and thus the metagame. Some characters counter others.
Trynd gets countered by soft-CC and most Tanks. Taunt+Blademail = Severely Gimped Trynd.

But of course, most regular/pubbers don't want to play the Tanks.
They want to be "That Guy With the Enormous Killcount"; "gloryboaters" as I call them.
So it's no surprise to me when the three wannabe gloryboaters (all playing AD Carries and squishy mages/assassins) all get murdered by a garden variety Pubstomper Trynd, feed, and lose the game.

[sub](Psst! This is also part of why Critplank pubstomps so well too! My little secret to you!)[/sub]

Again, you miss the point... How you play or who is playing as a character has nothing to do with POWER, its already determined in their design. I could beat Mitsurugi as easily as farting on a paralyzed dog but that wouldnt change the fact that he is powerful, fast and has good range. He is an OP character and that is that.
