All RTS games have a cheating AI, they always have full data despite fog of war, ya they might send out scouts but that is just for shits and giggles, I understand it's far easier to do it this way but you nullify 50% of the the players tactics.

In Age of Empires 3, on the hardest difficulty setting, the AI gets resources twice as fast as it normally would. That always pissed me off.
Definitely in this. In most of the Age of Empires I've always found that with the hardest setting on, they're already destroying my village with tanks before I've even discovered fire.

[sub]slight exaggeration perhaps, but it seems to happen[/sub]

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising or whatever its called. The AI seems to know exactly where you are, supremely accurate and can take a substantial amount of abuse before dieing compared to yourself. For a game thats supposed to be realistic it fails.

Any rts really because the ai can input multiple commands and control units all at the same time. The fastest of fingers still can't control each individual unit or even a few squads/groups at the same time. That's why I don't feel bad using pause button in total war games. I love total war...

Civilization Revolution's AI cheats on the hardest difficulty.
Example: I had the last nation's capital boxed in, they could hardly get any resources and I eclipsed them on every stat. Then one turn goes by and their tech, economic stats go from the 20% mark to the 90% mark. It was evil.

Pretty much any racing game ever. Damn AI gets teleported up to you no matter how far in front you SHOULD BE, just to make it more challenging.
I never have that problem, mainly because the cars i drive all have 200+ horsepower advantages over the competition. Take GT5 for example, the only cars that can beat me atm are purpose built European racing machines. My murcialago can take em off the line, but they are better top end and through the turns. Damn racing tuned suspensions...

Nobody's mentioned Perfect Dark's Dark Sims? They were faster, had %100 (to the point where any time they actually missed was a glitch), could aim at you through walls and knew exactly where you were, and had increased reload speed on all weapons. In other words, they were AI-controlled hacks.

In Dawn of War when playing against the Imperial Guard AI they somehow always know where to use the long range scanner.
Yeah, that annoyed the HELL out of me and my friend while we played the soulstorm champaign.

We were playing as chaos :p

As has been said, a lot of RTS games as the computer can do about 5 different things at once...whereas you can only do one. Also I swear they get resources faster.

Also, in games such as FFIX, when you fight Amarent, he has about 8,000 HP when you fight him...but when you get him afterwards it seems to have depleted to about 1,000. Sad times.

Tetris Attack. Bowser. Hardest setting. Guy drops 10x combos like its nothing.

Not really cheating, but damn annoying.

They do, I several times cheated on a starcraft skirmish. Terran AI vs Terran me. I build my barracks first. Then I see the AI build. His barracks has finished and built a marine while mine is halfway.

The bots for custom games in League of Legends (especially before the recent release of Co-Op VS AI where they knew more people would be playing against them now) cheat their ass off. To get better stats, you have to buy items, which you do by getting gold from kills and just automatically over time. To get your full build of 6 items, it usually takes 35-45 minutes unless you get a lot of kills early. The bots automatically have their entire build at 30 minutes. They can also magically see you while you should be in stealth. The item thing is largely speculation because the bot mode is only a few weeks old, but I've been standing in brush (which stealths you completely unless there's an enemy in the same brush) and a bot walks up, hesitates for a second, then turns and unloads a metric fuckton of damage on my face. There's also the matter of how the bots having (even on beginner) far above human reflexes which makes the bots that play high-damage characters very dangerous, but that's not exactly cheating.

This. The newer Need For Speed games are the worst. In most games I just try to keep pace with the opponents until the last lap, and then try to race ahead of them for the win.

In conclusion, this retarded setting makes almost all racing games SUCK.

Same thing in Starcraft II, and they have vision of pretty much anything.
I'm confused. In the Blizzard retrospect video on youtube, one of the AI designers said that he actually eliminated all AI cheating for Starcraft II.

The AI is just about every FPS I've ever played. Got a silenced weapon? Killin' a guy? Well, the entire camp knows JUST where you are! :D And they've got better accuracy than you do! :D
Ever played Borderlands? The second you fire your first shot every enemy near you instantly turns, aims and fires directly at you. Though they really need to work on their accuracy.

Also playing Pokemon Black and battling against Elesa (electric gym leader) she managed to score 8 critical hits IN A ROW on my Pokemon!! Though that could also be called bad luck but still ... cheating...

Was playing Halo Reach with my friend on his Xbox on co-op doing the story missions on mythic difficulty...I'm sorry but when I hit an elite in the back of the head it is ALWAYS an assasination...oh and giving the hunters a semi-automatic version of the fuel rod gun (think insta-kill RPGs on that difficulty) and forcing the players to run through a very tight and very narrow corridor to reach said hunters is just plain cruel (Sword of Oni level for those who know)...also the level straight afterwards - nigh on invincible elites with jetpacks (they are brutes but they take almost the same amount of damage to bring down) and pulse rifles (continuous lasers that kill you in 2 seconds flat) is just stupid...we got through Sword of Oni (after 12 effing hours) and gave up on the next mission (after about 9 hours, most of which were spent respawning at one particular section later on in the mission)...

Oh and Battlefield 2142 when you first start the game and decide to play against bots (on any difficulty above braindead easy) is nearly impossible. Hackshot (I mean headshot) city is the order of the day...just pray they don't have rocket launchers or you truly are doomed. Oh and they can shoot you whilst facing the wrong way (WTF!!)...
