Bleach: The Hollows Roar (Closed, started)

"Wow, that worked..." Brad said at the same time, not knowing how that strange Zanpakto worked.

"Good move Evela!" Brad yelled, seeing a path into the desert.

"That way! head east!" He yelled, standing in front of his group as the Dog Faced Hollow attacked.

"I'll hold him off, now go!" He yelled, not sure if he could take this thing alone.

Kage darted forward in the middle of the group as Evela blocked the incoming blasts. A handy ability he had, this was something that he'd have to remember. An important rule in a group was knowing everyones strengths to use them to their full extent.

The shield fell after the bast as Brad suddenly changed the groups direction. They were heading back out of the forest in what seemed like the best idea at the moment. Either way presented danger, but the forest was too dangerous to remain. However, the hollows outside were waiting for them, including the dog hollow that greeted them as soon as they came through the gateway.

"It's the scout! It needs to fall before it can summon more!" Kage yelled out as he grabbed his zanpakuto with both hands. He ran harder to bring himself to the front of the group with Brad before making his move. There was little time and the strike had to be precise.

"Gleam! Bite!" Kage yelled out as he pulled his lower hand away, the blade shrinking into the hilt as he pulled the long cord from the handle. Letting it play out through his hand he threw the blade into a swing while he wrapped the cord around his lower hand to anchor it. Once it was into a fast spin, he released it at the dog hollow letting the blade streak forward a flash in the moonlight.

The blade hit true, striking the hollows mask and chipping it before it bounced off. The dog snapped and charged forward at him with more power as Kage yanked the cord and returned his shikai to his hand. He didn't let it play out though as he charged right back at the dog.

"Approximate target velocity 14 kilometers per hour by 0 degrees at 8 kilometers per hour by 0 degrees. Calculating approximate intercept at 43 percent mark timing 3...2...1"

Kage ran the strike through his head as fast as he could calculating the possible variables before he made his move. He began running in front of the group while the dog hollow charged them before he used his shunpo and disappeard from sight. Flash stepping ahead of the group he moved from point to the hollows back. The dog hollow didn't notice until Kage grabbed its boney plating for stability as the dogs body bounced up and down. The hollow skidded to a stop, turning its head from side to side and snapping its jaws at him trying to bite him and get him off, but Kage managed to hold on with one hand while he held his shikai in the other.

"Hey! Hey! Knock it off!" Kage yelled as the dog turned in circles trying to catch him and almost throwing him off. He managed to stop the dog running by leaning off to the side and kicking it in the side of the face, the dog giving a suprised yelp before clutching its face with its paw for a moment. Kage took the moment of relative stillness to regain his footing just before the dog turned on him and snapped again, snarling and barking at him.

Holding on with the one hand he flipped his shikai around in his hand down into a hammer grip. The dog snapped at him several more times, jerking around each time it reached. The time to finish it was now. Each time the dog snapped it did so in the same way giving him a vulnerability to work with. The next time the dog snapped at him Kage kicked out again and hit its lower jaw, shutting it up for a moment so he could move. Reaching up over his head Kage bent backwards doing a backflip along the dogs backside ending with his feet on the dogs shoulders and sitting on its head. The dog recovered from the kick disoriented and thrashing just as Kage brought his tanto shikai down in the back of its head, impaling the whole length down to the guard. The hollow yelped and suddenly reared up throwing him off while the blade remained embedded and then turned on him. Kage landed hard in the sand and rolled once to a stop before climbing to his feet as the dog advanced. Reaching out though, he still commanded his blade.

"Gleam! Back in your hole! Seal!" Kage shouted to his blade. The cord quickly retracted back into the handle and the blade suddenly grew out of the hit carving its way through the hollows head. The dog stumbled and dropped to the ground, writhing in pain and yelping as the tip of the blade burst through the front of its face, shattering the mask outwards into a million shards all over the sandy ground.

Kage ran over and snatched the handle of his zanpakuto, ripping it out of the hollows head and running back to the group. There were still other hollows to deal with and he wasn't going to get caught alone.

"Good work Kage!" Brad yelled, looking at a Gillian in front of him.

The beast let out a deffening screech as it opened its mouth, Brad was worried as it started to gather red and black energy to the front of its mask.

"Oh shit... thats a Cero..." Brad commented, seeing it was aimed for Kage, the creature must have been pissed that Kage killed its leader.

'I cant think of any defence spells that can deflect this, Block it? No, what if I cant handle it, Im not that experenced with Bankai yet... Wait, I got it!' Brad thought to himself, sliding in front of Kage, holstering his swords into his belt loop.

"Heavens hear my cry! Give me the power to obliterate all that stands in my way! Strike at my foe with the greatest power possible! Hadô #88! Hiryugekizokushintenraiho!" Brad yelled, sending a massive bolt of lightning from his palm at the Cero, pushing it back, then peircing a whole though the ball of reshi and decapatating the Gillian where he stood, the creature's body purafied and sent back into the life stream thank to the Kido of the young soul reaper.

tired after that, Brad saw the other hollow's retreat as fast as they could, they where stupid, but they knew they could not win this fight.

"That... That was fun." Brad said, breathing heavy, that was by far the most powerful Kido he has ever used, and he put a lot of his energy into it, the energy he had left anyway.

"Ok, we need to find cover, thats not a forest filled with giant ass beasts..." Brad said, re drawing his swords once more.

"Kage, can you use your scanner again and see if we got anything else to worry about?" Brad asked, turning to Kage, seeing that the body of the dog face was still there.

Brandon panted as the hollow fell. "Well that was a pain in the ass."

"Well At least you actually fought, oh wait? No you didn't, All you did was draw your sword and swing at the damn thing!

Hey! your just a sword. Not Even that! Your half a sword! You try having to deal with a Giant monster made of a hungry soul trying to eat you! Then we'll see who so high and mighty Brandon thought back angrily.

"Ok, we need to find cover, thats not a forest filled with giant ass beasts..." He heard Brad say.

h"I'll see if I can't find something Brad." He said with a nod. "Open your eyes! TsuninHitsu Ryu." He called, his body glowed and soon anther of him had joined the group holding the red handled sword.

"Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww maaaaaaaaannnnnn. Stuck with scout duty? Why?" The one with the red sword whined.

" Because the mission needs it that's why, if you want I'll scout but either way you don't get to fight yet." The Blue one said.

"Oh Hell no! You stand here, As much As I wanna fight, I will not be stuck waiting." The red one said as he slammed his sword back in his scabbard. Soon he was heard grumbling as he nimbly climbed one of the many trees.

"Anything you want in particular Sir? Or just something out of the forest?" The blue version asked Brad with a salute.

Risa hung back, watching the Hollows approach. Drawing her Zanpakuto, already in Shikai form, she struck out at them, using blasts of sound to ush back any Hollow that dareed get too close. But that didn't seem to stop them for long.

I guess now is as a good time as any to unveil my Bankai, huh?

She closed her eyes annd concentrated, feeling power run through her.

"BANKAI!"

Rushing back towards the group Kage could hear the hollows coming behind them. He didn't dare look back though, keeping his eyes on the group. Alone there was no way he could take all of them, but if they followed him back to the group, they'd take care of them.

And they did just that. The hollows were hot on his tail as he approached the group and Brad rushed forward. He could only guess that there were either a lot o them, or something very bad back there as he rushed out right in front of him.

Rather than stop and talk Kage flash stepped right through Brad as if he wasn't even there, continuing his run into the group. Behind him he heard Brad uttering the words to a kido spell before a massive crackling blast shocked the air creating a thunderous blast wave. His foot passed Brandon...one of the Brandons, and he spun around just as the blue blast of lightning began to fizzle out. Several menos class hollows toppled over on the ground and dissolved into the air while the rest began to retreat.

"Ha, yeah, that'll teach you. Morale broken, communications cut off. It'll take them a good long while to bring back reinforcements." he said as the rest of the group calmed down again. THe hollows in the forest were reluctant to leave it, so for the moment, they were relatively safe.

Brad tucked away his weapons and came back to the group behind him, grabbing Kage by the shoulder.

"Kage, can you use your scanner again and see if we got anything else to worry about?" he asked. Kage looked back over his shoulder and gave a nod.

"Yeah, shouldn't be a problem, hold on." Kage told him as he kneeled down in the sand. He drew the circle array and recited the incantation as the reishi around him light up and scattered off in all directions. Moments later, the information began to show up on the map. The small group of shinigami at the center, the pink group they escaped in the forest, and retreating away from the center was the remains of the group of hollows summoned as soon as they got into hueco mundo.

"Okay Brad, come take a look."

The Red Brandon grumbled as he reached the top. "*grumble grumble* Friken pansys....*grumble*....need me to climb a friken tree....*grumble* Can't haul their own asses up here. Gah finally the top!" He said as sat on a branch near the top of the tree and looked out onto the horizon. "Let's see...sand...sand...more sand....ohhh and look at that, more sand!" He said as he looked around. "Can't imagine what they expect to find.....oh. That might be what he meant." He noticed an odd building in the distance to the west, he couldn't really tell what it was only that it was a building. And that it had an odd faint spiritual pressure coming from the building.

Red Brandon jumped down from the tree and landed with a dull thump. " Okay bossman, This I know you'll find interesting. There's an odd....structure in the west. And there was a faint spiritual presser coming from it. And it wasn't a Hollow that much I can tell.

Brad looked at the spell, not undersanding how this works, but not second guessing it.

"Looks like the ones that retreated in the forest are trying to hid..." Before he could finish, the two red dots that ran away from the blue ones where swarmed upon by 6 more red dots, then the 3 original dots vanashed, and the remaining dots getting a tad brighter.

"Glad we dident see that..." Brad responded, checking his spirit phone, it must have been broken, the date was 6 months back from the date that was on it last he checked.

'Oh whatever...' He sighed.

After hearing Brandon's other half report back, he wondered what it ment.

"No hollows? Intresting, this might be why where here, we need to check this out, ok people, we head west after taking a break." Brad told the group.

"Yes Sir." Both Brandons said with a nod. The Blue half leaned against a tree as the other paced back and forth kicking at a pebble.

"[sub]Gah! More waiting, too little killing.[/sub]" He mumbled as he kicked at the tree the blue half was leaning against. "OW! Sonuvabitch! Stupid Hollow world tree!" He said grabbing his foot and hopping up and down on the other.

" Can't say you didn't deserve it. Impatience and a bloodlust will to nothing but a loss of life. And I don't mean your enemys."

" Can it blue boy! Anything you tell me about not fighting is just gonna make me wanna hurt you."

" Perhaps we should just merge, scouting is over and with you there's just a bigger chance of the group being discovered."

"Fine!"

"Merge!" They both said and soon only one Brandon was left. He shook his head trying to dispel the feeling of being in two places at once. "I will never get used to Tsunin's power."

Before Risa could get a chance to actually use her Bankai,the Hollows seemeed to retreat.

Aw... and I wanted try try it out, too... Oh well. There'll probably be other fights anuyway...

As she returned her weapons to its sealed form, Risa happened to see what looked like two Brandons fusing into one.

...Wow. That... was unexpected...

"Okay, so now that there are no hollows... At least that we can see or sense..." Evela said, looking at everyone, "Can I finally play some Music?" he asked, holding his shikai out, pointing out that he was already ready to play and it wouldn't be any trouble or going out of his way to do this.

I expected more out of Hueco Mundo. You think we would have at least run into an Adjuchas or two. Perhaps something is keeping them away? That's a distinct possibility. There's definitely a larger game afoot then what we were informed of. All we can do now is go through the motions until we find out the truth. Sheathing his sword, he stood up and stretched out the kinks in his back. "Ready whenever you are Brad."

"Ok, we have rested for long enough, lets move." Brad said as he formed his sword spear and walked in the direction that the Brandons told him the base was.

"From what i could tell in the jerk Brandon's voice, this place is huge Kage, I'm going to need your help in scouting out the area, Can I count on you?" Brad asked as they passed a cave, a rather foreboding cave at that.

'Brad, theres something in that cave, something... strong, be careful, we should try to get away as soon as possible.' Izanagi warned his partner.

the young leader halted the group.

"I need to check something." Hiburi said as he closed his eyes, trying to sense what was in the cave.

'... i don't sense... wait, there it is... i can feel one... no wait, three beings...' Brad thought, the first pressure he felt made his knees shake, it almost completely masked the other two spiritual pressures with its sure size and power.

'This power... its so... massive! even with all of us, and Ken and I in Bankai, we cant take this thing... We got to...' Before he could warn the group to run for it, he felt the pressures getting closer.

"Fuck..." the soul reaper muttered, his knees still shaking.

"Well hello there Soul Reapers." One of the other pressures that Brad felt said, they all looked human, But Brad could only see the woman's face out of the three, the other two hung back in the shadows, but Brad could see that the one talking had blond hair and was wearing white, like all of them, but theres looked like reversed colored Soul Reaper Uniforms.

"You look like humans... but I can tell your not, are you soul reapers?" Brad asked, could they be apart of Ichigo's group that went to take Aizen down?

"Haven't you ever heard of a Arrancar before kid?" the biggest of the three spoke.

'An Arrancar?! Damnit we are so screwed...' Brad thought, remember what Jushiro told him.

"Hey Captian Ukitake-sama, I've been hearing some of the other soul reapers talk about Arrancar, what are they?" Brad asked, the young man walking next to the captain he looked up to so.

"News spreads fast apparently, A Arrancar is a hollow that has somehow gained soul reaper powers, either though the Hōgyoku, that thing that Aizen took out of Rukia's body, or by there masks being removed or broken by force. they are strong, Captian Hitsugia told me about them when he came back from Kamakura town, there strong Brad, Be very careful if you are ever forced to fight one." Ukitake said to his 5th seat.

"I probably wont ever have to fight one anyway, but thank you Sir."

'me and my big mouth...' Brad thought.

"Everyone, get behind me." he yelled, jumping in front of his team.

"This one is brave Nelliel" the blond one spoke to the woman in front of them.

Brad looked at this Arrancar known as Nelliel, she was a tall, beautiful woman, teal hair that went down her back, most likely to her mid back, from what Brad could tell. Her blue-green eyes just stared at the bankai enabled soul reaper that was either brave or stupid enough to throw himself in front of the others to protect them.

'that mask... that power... god I'm screwed...' Brad continued to think.

"You there, Soul reaper in white, why do you wear such strange cloths?" She spoke in a lovely voice, not fitting of someone with such raw and fierce power.

"Its because of my Bankai." Brad commented, still in his battle stance.

"You look pretty young, how did you get bankai so early?" She asked, folding her arms across her stomach, as if not even worried that a Bankai enabled soul reaper is poised to attack.

"I trained every day for the past 10 years, If i wasn't training, i was more offend then not reading books from the Human World." He responded.

"Oh? You read? What types of books?" Nelliel asked, the Shinigami had stumbled upon her favorite past time, maybe saving the group from death.

Brad dropped his guard, seeing that she wasn't going to attack, he just hoped that the others would see this too.

"I mostley read books from Earth's past, like Romeo and Juliet, the Odyssey, but my favorite is Romance of the Three Kingdoms." he told the Arrancar.

"Wait, theres books in this place? all I've seen is sand and hollows." Brad couldn't believe he was having a civil talk with a advanced Hollow, more so of this level, he thought that anything in this world that was THIS strong would be trying to kill them on sight.

"There is in Aizen's palace." The fat Arrancar told the leader, wondering what a group of Soul Reapers where doing in this place.

"AIZEN?! That means that your..."

"Yes, I am, I'm Espada number three, Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck." She spoke, her reversed colored Shihakushō blowing in the wind.

'Crap... i know where starting to be on good terms, but...'

'No, now is not the time, continue the talk Brad.' Izanagi interrupted his friend's thought.

"We mean no harm to Aizen Ms..."

"Please, call me Nelliel." She smiled.

"Ok, Nelliel, Where not here to attack Aizen, wait, isent there a attack already happening?" Brad asked, the intel he got in the pack that Capitan Yanmamoto handed him said that Ichigo was already attacking Aizen with his group.

"No, not at all, in fact, your the first soul reaper I've ever seen." she replied to the confused Shinigami.

It hit Brad at that moment, the phone said it was six months in the past sense the last time he checked it, could Urahara have accidentally sent them back in time? But... thats impossible.

'its not impossible Brad, Remember when we where studying Kido? theres one that can stop time, its not out of the question that you could go back in time with that logic.' Izanagi spoke.

"Damnit Urahara..."

"Is something wrong... you know, i never got your name." the Espada said.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I'm Brad Hiburi, 5th seat of squad 13." He said, putting away his swords and offering his hand to shake the woman that stood eye level to him, which she took.

"Sorry if I seemed so standoffish, your spirit pressure is, well, to be frank, intimidating." Brad spoke.

Nelliel began to laugh. "Oh I'm intimidating am I? You have no idea how many times I've heard that sense I became a Arrancar." She joked.

Brad began to laugh as well, not expecting a joke from this woman.

The Leader could sense his group's unease with talking to such a powerful being, and he hoped none of this would brash out and attack out of fear, Ken was the one he had to worry about the most, he seemed to like to think more with his sword more then his brain.

Before asking Nelliel any further questions, Brad waited for his group to feel more at ease with this Espada, hoping they wouldent do anything stupid, this was the first time anyone has ever had a civil talk with a Hollow, let alone one this strong, this could mean a whole new page in the Soul Society, and Brad would not let this get screwed up.

Jason straightened up and let his Zanpakuto slide back into its sheath with an audible click. He didn't see any reason to attack her, she seemed nice for a hollow. He walked over and held out his hand to shake the Arrancar's.

"Its a pleasure to meet you Nelliel, my name is Jason Shado 3rd seat of squad 10." Jason said smoothly, having had to introduce himself to so many different people that it was just natural to him now.

Jason straightened up, letting his Zanpakuto slide back into its sheath with an audible click. He seemed fine with Brad talking to an Arrancar, especially with the logic of Urahara sending them back in time. He walked forward, and held out a hand to Nelliel, releasing the hilt of his Zanpakuto with his other hand, he didn't have any reason to fight her if she didn't attack first.

"Its a pleasure to meet you Nelliel, my name is Jason Shado 3rd seat of squad 10." Jason said smoothly, having had to introduce himself to so many different people that it was just natural to him now.

Ken felt the huge pressure from the cave, but when Ken got an eyeful of the female Arrancar before him, he immediately blushed.

How could something so beautiful be so powerful!? Ken thought to himself before stepping forward.

"Hiya! My name's Ken Langston! 7th seat of Squad 11." Ken took a small bow for courtesy. He didn't feel threatened, but kissing up to the people stronger than you was never a bad thing.

Risa eyed the Arrancar woman cautiously. Something about her seemed... a bit off. In fact, something about their whole situation felt... wrong...somehow.

Maybe she was just being paranoid... so she should probably be nice to her...for now.

"Um... hello. My name's Risa Noburi of Squad 9, it's nice to meet you."
