Jason had been recently resting in the destroyed office building, until he saw one or two more Hollow wandering down the street. They were just your typical Hollow, human-like bodies and large white masks on their heads. The only difference between them and normal Hollow's is that they moved incredibly fast for their size, and destroyed everything they could as they walked forward.

Jason let Ryūsei lash outward, stabbing one of the Hollow through the back of the head. It disappeared almost immediately, but the other Hollow didn't disappear so easily. No, instead, the second Hollow ducked into an alleyway and disappeared from Jason's view.

Jason sprinted to the alley entrance, and peered around, seeing the Hollow just squatting down in the center of the alley. At first Jason didn't know what it was doing, but as he drew closer, he saw that that was not a real Hollow. Instead, it was a fake Hollow meant to distract Jason from finding the real Hollow. He lashed out with Ryūsei, the hollow impersonation being destroyed.

He heard a scraping noise from above and saw the Hollow climbing up a skyscraper. He sighed, using flash step to appear in front of the Hollow. The hollow didn't even look surprised, instead, its head snapped forward, stretching to reaches that were impossible. Jason just barely blocked the head in time, skidding backwards up the building as the Hollow continued to climb.

He finally brushed the head aside, letting himself fall down towards the Hollow's body, Ryūsei whipping forward to cut through the Hollow. It never connected, Jason being smacked aside by the Hollow's arm, which could also stretch to impossible lengths. Jason flew for quite a distance, smashing into the side of the building as he flew. Until finally he landed on a building he had been on before.

Jason rolled to a stop, his head and body pounding. He felt another trickle of blood leaving his head and falling down below his eyes. He looked back at the skyscraper only to see the Hollow climbing up the rest of the building and resting on top. Jason pushed himself to his feet, and started after the Hollow again, flash stepping onto the rooftop of the other building.

The hollow stared down at his bloodied opponent and Jason swore he saw a grin flash across the Hollow's face. Jason let Ryūsei stretch out, and then whipped it forward, the blade piercing through the arm that had just tried to block it. Jason turned Ryūsei ever so slightly, so the blade wouldn't come out, and then pulled back as far as he could. The hollow's arm whipped forward, aimed for Jason's head.

Jason rolled to the side, avoiding the arm which no plummeted over the side of the building, Jason's blade still attached. Jason smiled, yanking his blade back through the arm, and bringing it around to trip up the hollow, which fell down on its back. Jason let his blade fly up into the air, the blade spiraling downwards into the Hollow's face mask. It let out one last shriek which ended when the hollow's body did. Jason nodded, bring his zanpakuto back and sheathing it which allowed it to return to its un-released form.

"Wow... that's fifteen already for me." Jason mumbled, turning around to gaze out over the rest of the city. Similar battles were happening, a bright life, like lightning, flashing off in the distance.

Kage continued to walk towards Aoshi in the intersection. The way he'd disbatched those hollows, there couldn't have been more around here. By the looks of things, they were just about done.

"Hey, didn't you hear me over there?" Kage yelled out, though Aoshi seemed to pay him no notice. He shook his head and started to jog over. Maybe he just didn't hear me he thought to himself. But behind him there was a loud crunch. Looking back over his shoulder, he had just enough time to duck as a car went flipping through the air. It arched high and bounced off the fourth floor of a builidng before careening down the street, but his instinct was to duck anyway. The hollow showed itself from the shadows of the building, standing high in the air.

From the shadows, walking upon six pointed legs with two forecep like arms. It leaned in with a sneer and a growl.

You've gotta be kidding me.

Kage reached down and grabbed the hilt of his sword, drawing it and holding it in a defensive posture.

"Come ON! I just sealed you! How many of you ARE there!?" he yelled at the hollow. It didn't respond, just sneering at him with the same hungry noises as any other mindless hollow, though this one seemed a bit smarter. Maybe it saw the death of the other one, maybe it was just a greater hollow, but this one wasn't charging in.

Step by step the hollow slowly approached, rubbing its claw-hands against each other with a fine, shrill hiss. This hollow even seemed a bit bigger than the last one which was -not- a good sign. Ben backed away from it slowly and off to the side, moving out of the road and onto the sidewalk, keeping the buildings at his back so no other hollows could ambush him. The hollow followed patiently, like an adder waiting to strike.

Kage continued to back away until he back touched a wall. Now he couldn't move, it was a waiting game. Who would move first. The hollows hands stopped scraping each other and moved apart, held out and ready to strike. Kage lifted his blade, ready to parry. His locked onto the yellow points in the holes of its mask trying to read its movements. But this was a beast, not a shinigami. This was hunger, not technique. And this wasn't a sparring match, this was real.

The hollow was the first to strike. Stabbing forward at him, Kage rolled along the wall out of the path of its hand, the claw peircing the concrete and passing through without pause. This hollow was much stronger than the last. Before it could recover, Kage struck out with his zanpakuto, bringing it down from overhead on the hollows hand, The blade struck hard and bounced off like it was nothing, sending him staggering backwards.

"Wha?"

The hollow ripped his hand out of the wall, cracking the concrete in all directions as chunks of stone followed it out, scattering over the sidewalk and street. With a roar it turned on him and moved forward, reaching out and tossing another car across the street to get it out of the way before snapping a street lamp in half to clear it out of the way. Kage continued to back away from it, also leading it away from Aoshi and out into the street. Pretty soon he'd have to attack, he couldn't run forever.

"Gleam, I need you now. Come on, I know you have it in you. Make a deal with you, you help me this time, and I'll spend a day with you. Just help me. NOW!"

The hollow reared and lifted an arm high before bringing it down on Kage. He held his blade up with one hand on the hilt and the other on the end of the blade, blocking the strike and stopping it mid-attack. Holding it there took everything he had and no more than a couple seconds after his leg buckled, bringing him down to one knee. The farther he went down, the more force the hollow exerted, pushing him to his limit.

"Gah...gotta...hold on...just a bit more..." he said through gritted teeth. The hollow eventually tired of the stalemate and lifted his arm, stepping back a couple times as it readied its next assault. Kage stood up and narrowed his eyes, lowering his sword and holding it out to the side while moving his hand down to the end of the hilt.

"Now is the time. Gleaming Silver Fang, BITE!" Kage shouted as he swung forward. As he called out to his zanpakuto, the end of the hilt shifted as it transformed into a coil of cord and unraveled. THe blade left his hand and flew forward at the hollow, the blade shrinking as the cord let out, but for the short range it was still more than enough. The tip of the blade struck the hollow, frozen in suprise as the blade embedded itself a couple inches through its mask.

"I got you this time." He said as the hollows shock wore off. It jerked back, freeing the blade from its mask. Kage gave a sharp tug on the cord, drawing it back to him and catching the cord a couple feet below the hilt. He switched hands to put the blade back on his primary side again, and letting out a bit of cord, started to swing it.

The hollow hesitated with the new challenge in front of it. Suddenly the shinigami had reach on it and had shown that he could hurt it. Acting more cautiosly now, the hollow moved to the side behind a parked car, taking cover behind it while Kage stood in the middle of the street waiting for it. The hollow leaned down a bit further and then suddenly jerked upwards, flipping the car end over end at Kage. He had seconds to calculate where the car was going to land and ran forward, ducking under it after the car vaulted off the ground on its own bumper. Swinging his shikai around at the apex of its arc, he released it and sent the blade flying forward. This time though, he didn't want the hollows mask.

It had no time to react as the car masked his approach. All it saw was the blade fly out from under it before the car cleared him and revealed the shinigami holding the end. The blade streaked though the air and struck true, sinking into the hollows blade body all the way to the hilt.

The hollow reared up and howled in pain. The blade might have been shorter, but it was still a foot long, more than long enough to cut deep. Still, it was far from a killing stroke. Kage drew the blade back to him, letting the cord feed through his empty hand before catching the blade and letting it feed out into a spin once more.

"I can't seal him like this though...there's got to be another way to do this..."

Aoshi shook himself out his tired stupor before noticing his teammate fighting a massive hollow. They just keep coming. If we don't work together we are going to die one at a time. Dragging himself to his feet, he released his zanpakuto, " Dakishimete yami, Maindo Setsudan Naitomea. " Flash stepping over to Kage, he let lose a blast of his remaining energy, hoping to distract the hollow that wanted to carve them a new one. "Any ideas Kage?" he shouted out as he dodged under a strike from one of the hollow's scythe like arms. If I were to die from that, the irony would be palpable.

Ken had been jumping around town for a while now... "Seriously!? Where are all the hollows?" Ken looked behind him and noticed that he had 3 small fries following him. "Oh, so you're following me are you? That's just fine with me but I don't think my Zanpakto is too happy about it." Joked Ken with a mischievous grin on his face.

Ken began using his reshi to rapidly spin the air around him, forming into many small discs.

"Take this! RAZOR WIND!!! The discs of compressed wind shot through the hollows, dicing them very nicely. Their remains shortly turned to dust and scattered to the wind.

"This is fun! We should come to the Human World more often Ryukiba!" Ken spoke to his Zanpakto like a pet.

Kage stepped back as the hollow lowered itself, recovering from the stab. Painful as it was, it didn't damage it a great deal and the hollow was starting to get used to the pain. Kage backed away slowly swinging his shikai in a vertical circle while the hollow approached. THis was a do or die situation. The hollow would lunge, and he had to duck it and then counter attack. Playing the senario over in his head, he got ready for it.

And then it all went out the window. Out of nowhere, Aoshi stepped next to him and without a word blasted the hollow with raw spiritual energy. The hollow was unharmed, but the speed of the attack scared it, forcing it to retreat back down the street. It didn't last long though and the hollow came back at them with a vengence, barreling down the street and cracking the pavement under its weight before swinging wildly. It swept through the air with one of its arms. Both Aoshi and Kage had to duck to get under it. Kage jumped backwards a few feet as the hollow recoiled and readied its strike again.

"Any ideas Kage?" Aoshi shouted loudly.

"I'm working on it!" he yelled back as he looked around. Without any energy, options were limited, but now that he had someone else to do this with, there was a much better chance.

Kage took off running past Aoshi, hitting the sidewalk to get around the hollow.

"I've got one! You'll know when!" he yelled as he passed the other shinigami in the street. The hollow was quick to follow him but not so quick to turn its back on a shinigami, backing up against a building as he guarded its blindsides. But striked at its blindside wasn't what he wanted. He just wanted its attention.

"Alright now! Gleaming Silver Fang, BITE!" Kage called out. His shikai was already released, but speaking it out loud focused his mind. He swung his shikai wide and then released it, sending the blade straight at the hollows body. It moved to deflect it but the speed of the throw was faster than it could move. Just like before, the blade struck and sunk deep. The hollow howled and was taken aback, but this time didn't take its eyes off him.

"That's fine, I got a new trick for you." he said as he held the cord of his shikai. He let out a bit more slack in the line as the hollow rose up in the air, lifting its front two legs off the ground in an act of intimidation. From there, it had the reach to bring its claws down across the street. THis was a now or never shot.

Kage lifted his arm up quickly and then brought it back down with a sharp snap. Like a whip, the wave in the cord traveled down its length quickly from his hand to the blade. Once it reached the blade though, it was abruptly jolted. First, the hilt was jerked upwards, forcing the tip down inside its body. The hollow reeled at the new pain inside it and stumbled backwards. Before it could get away though, the hilt was jerked back down hard. The entire blade moved with it this time, cutting down through its underbelly in a long gash before the cord ran out of reach and the tip slipped out of its skin. with a jerk, Kage called his blade back to him, catching it as it flew through the air and then letting it hang, reading for the second strike.

The hollow, fell backwards into a jewelry store, the large glass windows giving without hesitation as its massive body fell in. The sound of shattering glass filled the street with the drone of alarms while the hollow scrambled to get up off its back.

as Brad finished off the rest of the hollows in the area that he shocked, he looked around, seeing no more portals opening up in the sky.

Pulling out his communicator he got before leaving to the human world, he put it on his ear and hoped everyone else could hear him.

"Everyone, looks like where almost done, We will meet up at Udahara sama's shop when we kill them all, we got some stuff to talk about." Brad said, turning off his com and putting it back in his robe, looking around for any more hollows to slay, and he found one, a huge one.

"Well, lets get it over with!" Brad yelled, dashing at the pig like hollow.

No words where spoken as the hollow hot fire at Brad through his mask's nose.

Using Izunagi as a sheild, he started to spin him at super high speed, deflecting the fire.

"Now, Hado #32, Ôkasen!" Brad yelled, using Izunagi as a focus point for the Hado, sending a beam of yellow energy at the beast.

Unlike the other hados he used, this one wasent lightning based, so Brad had some hardship controling it, only hitting hte beast on its left side of its body, taking off its arm and leg, sending it squilling to the ground.

"You unlucky bastard, i need better control over non lightning Hado, i thought using one of Izunagi's abilitys, to channle Kido through him, would help, but i guess im going to have to do this the old fasion way." Brad said to hismelf, throwing Izunagi into the beast's skull, it dying and disapearing in front of him.

Both Brandons nodded to each other after hearing Brad's message, "looks like were about done here....OH LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THAT ONE! The one with the red sword said pointing to a large hollow, it towered over them, and it's feet were still on the ground. But size was all it had. " Big it may be, but it's still fairly weak."

" I know but damn it's freaking HUGE. It's mine!" The battle hungry Brandon said charging forward. He sliced the hollows mask with little effort "Awwwwww. He was weak." He said a little disappointed.

Aoshi watched as Kage attacked the hollow, knocking it onto it's back and leaving it perfectly open for attack. He wasn't kidding when he said I would know. Charging forward, he leaped into air, energy coating his scythe's edge before he slammed it into the hollow's mask. "Infernal Requiem," he shouted out as his attack sliced through it's mask and vaporized the creature. Spinning on his heel, he shook his head as the remaining hollow's continued to encircle them. Fuck, they just keep coming.

Tatsuo was waiting at the shop, lounging back on the Urahara shop roof when he saw Brad heading towards him. Tatsuo gave a lethargic wave and laid back down, waiting for the others. He started to speak into the headset, musing aloud. "So... Anyone wanna take a stab at why there was an irregular Menos Grande, and hollow bait, just as we get here? Anyone else finding the timing a little sketchy?"

Both Brandons looked around as they heard Brads message. " Awww, I wanted to fight some more. These weaker Hollows are always too weak. The battle-hungry Brandon whined. The Logical Brandon mearly stared blankly at him. " You say they are weak even though we are breathing heavily." He pointed out.

"Ah shut it. Monotouns prick." The red copy mumbled. The blue copy heard this but took no notice. " Come, We need to reform and return to the shop."

"Merge." They said at once, soon one Brandon remained. "I will never get used to that, nor the fact that I call myself names." He said as he flash-stepped back to the shop.

As the hollows in Abhiryu's area begin to lessen. He notices the last hollow in he area, is flying away form him, but Abhiryu didn't chase it.
' If it won't put up a fight or give me a challenge i have no reason to fight it '. Abhiryu looks around him and notices that has no clue where he is.
Unfamiliar with the area around him, Abhiryu begins to look for spiritual pressure that could resemble a shinigami's.
He jumps into the air and begins to glide around. after a few minutes Abhiryu finally sees some of the other soul reapers and notice some of them heading in the direction of Udahara sama's shop.

"Rakuto, I think we are done"

Abhiryu heads back to the shop.

"YAHOO!" Ken soared across the night sky and landed near where Kage and Aoshi were last seen. Apparantly they were surrounded...

"Yay! More hollows to slaughter! HehehehehAHAAHAHAHAHA!" Ken went absolute nuts at the sight of so many hollows.

Ken lunged at the nearest Hollow and sliced clean through his left leg and brought him to his knees. Ken Quickly backflipped using his Wind control and stabbed his blade into the top of the hollow's mask, letting gravity slice the rest of the way down.

As soon as he was on the ground, he was gone again, soaring straight at another hollow sinking Ryukiba into the back of its neck and using gravity to swing around it, cleanly beheading it.

This time, Ken never hit the ground. He used his momentum from the last kill and some of his reshi to turn himself into a living bullet. Holding Ryukiba in front of him, he shot straight through two of the beasts and slid on the ground to stop himself.

Still four hollows remained and Ken was just getting started. "Hee hee hee!" He cackled as he formed his Razor Wind technique from the air around him. RAZOR WIND!!! HAHAHAHA! Ken loosed the super compressed air discs and reduced three of the Hollows into little giblets.

That only left one more hollow. The hollow was frightened at the sight of seeing his comrades demolished in the span of less that a minute.

Ken grinned maniacally as he slowly walked towards the unfortunate being. "I wouldn't breathe if I were you...HeeheeheeHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" Ken Cackled as he stuck Ryukiba into the ground infront of him. Ken held his hand in front of him and pointed at the hollow. Sadly, the hollow began inhaling and ken took his chance.

"I warned you! Hahahaha!" Ken held his arms infront of him and made a ripping motion like a mime. The hollow began to expand as the air inside its body began to force its way out. Eventually, the hollow exploded into a bloody mess, the blood propelled even further by the force of Ken's reshi, showering everything in red.

"Hee hee hee! Now wasn't that FUN Ryukiba?" Ken asked his blade as he picked it up from its pedestal in the ground and held it in a reverse grip.

Ken turned around and looked at Kage and Aoshi. "Well? What are you looking at?" Ken asked with an insane look on his face. "Party's over, lets get back to brad! Hee hee hee!"

Kage stood back and watched as Aoshi dealt the killing blow to the hollow. He handled it effortlessly, cleaving its mask and head nearly in two before it blew away like dust. He tossed his shikai up in the air and caught the blade before sheathing it, the cord shortening back into the hilt as his zanpakuto sealed itself. His hand lingered on the hilt for just a few moments, looking down at it.

"Yes, yes, I promised, but not right now, jeez." he said, looking up once more. Aoshi stood looking rather pleased with himself, but that didn't last long as more hollows came up around them.

"Oh hell..." he said before he drew his zanpakuto again. This time though, he didn't have the energy to release it again. THis time, it was all back to basics.

but this time, he didn't have to fight. Out of nowhere, one of the two squad 11 shinigami assigned to them came flying out of the sky. This one he recognised, it was the one that didn't flash step, either not knowing shunpo or not caring to use it.

In terms of sheer power though, it was unbelievable. He disbatched the first hollow in his entry, the second in his recovery. From there, he cut through them like butter. But then squad 11 was for the strongest alone, so his suprised waned quickly. Taking a few steps back while he laughed maniacly during the slaughter, Kage kept his sword at the ready. In his crazed state, there was no telling if he would turn on them next, or if a hollow would slip his attention. But actually suprisingly, he didn't falter on either point. After the hollows were all dead, he retrived his zanpakuto and looked over at himself and Aoshi.

"Well? What are you looking at?" Ken asked with an insane look on his face. "Party's over, lets get back to brad! Hee hee hee!"

Ken took off towards the meeting place before either could answer. Kage was left with serious second thoughts about this group. He'd know since he got into the academy that squad 2 and squad 11 were opposites. Squad 2 was subtle, tactical, precise. Squad 11 was brutal, savage, and wild. They made a mess out of everything, but they did have a tendancy to leave nothing alive. Good for clearing out the riff raff and leaving squad 2 to the work that was actually important.

He sheathed his blade again and breathed a sigh. Looking down at his zanpakuto, he could tell it felt the same.

"Yeah, he's crazy. I sure hope Yamamoto knew what he was doing when he threw together this rag tag group of sword-swinging psychopaths..."

Shaking his head he picked up his phone. There was a message one it; apparently he'd gotten a call during the fight and never heard it. Holding up and checking the voicemail on it, it was Brad.

"Everyone, Brad again, battles over, time to regroup at the shop."

The message was short and to the point, and Kage flipped his phone closed and tucked it back into his clothes.

"Alright...um...whatever your name is." he said to Aoshi before turning his back on him, "Looks like we're meeting back at that shop. I'll meet you there." he told him before running off on foot.

Jason nodded as the message relayed through his own phone. He had fought enough Hollow today, and getting back to the shop for a little rest would be well appreciated. He began a slow walk back to the shop, emergency vehicles rushing past to asses whatever damage the Hollow's had caused.

Aoshi spared a glance at the damage their respective battles had done before shaking his head. It's a good thing they can't see hollows. I can imagine how much that would make them panic. A six story monster with a skull mask for a face. Slowly making his way back, he crossed the rooftops while thoughts warred through his mind. Someone definitely wants us dead. First they set the cleaner on us on our way here. Second, the instant we get here there is a powerful hollow attacking. Lastly, the second we get rid of it someone decides to drop some hollow bait in several highly populated areas. Making his way into the Shoten, he sat down and poured himself some sake while he waited for the rest of the group.

Brad arived at teh shop, tired form the night of work, he sat down in the shop, Ururu bring him a soda.

"So, i smelled some hollow bait Hiburi, what happened?" Urahara asked the young man as he sat down on the other side of the table from him.

"Yea, somthings up, The report Yamamoto handed to me thought just regular hollows where popping up and eating or kidnapping the humans, but this means somthing smart is doing it, that major hollow we killed hand hollow bait blocking its hollow hole, armor around it too, its as if whoever sent the hollow knew it would be dead after fighting us, which means they knew about us..." Brad said, taking a drink of the soda.

"And that means that they want to kill your team too Brad." Urahara added.

"Brad-Kun, would you like a rice ball?" Ururu asked as she entered the room.

"Oh yes, thank you Ururu-Chan." Brad smiled, taking a rice ball.

"Thanks Ururu." Kisuke Smiled, taking a rice ball himself and patting her on the head, Ururu smiling as she walked away.

"Right... This is getting bigger then we thought..."

"Brad, i prepared the training room, if you want to use it, i know for a fact you have been trying to train for..."

"Its ok Urahara-Sama, I want to do this on my own, ive been training for years with Izunagi for as long as i can remember, even how he picked me was unheard of." Brad said, looking at Izunagi as he rested in the corner.

"How did you get him anyway?" Urahara asked, Brad never telling him before.

"Well it was during some training in the real world when i was in school, some how, a real hollow got into the sheild that the 5th years put up, he attacked my team as they ran, i had to fight, and then i heard Izunagi call to me."

"I am Thou, and Thou are I, call out my name, and I will shine your path to victory!"

"Those where his words to me, then I called him out 'Shine light upon the truth! IZUNAGI!' Is what i yelled, as he transformed into his Shikai form, I could feel the electric running through me, and shooting at the hollow, killing it while its body twiched and shaked." Brad continued.

"I heard Ukitake showed up right after that." Urahara said, taking a bite of his rice ball.

"Kinda, he was watching the battle the whole time, he ended up giving me a pass into the 13th squad for having Izunagi appear through a training sword, which was unheard of, it was surprising, but it was either join Ukitaki, which i wanted to anyway, or go and meet... and use air quotes here, squad 11's captian..." Brad said as a shiver went up his spine.

"Good choice." Urahara smiled.

"Well, yea, but we should talk more about the mission when the others get back."

Tatsuo used the lip of the roof as a pivot point as he swung his body inside the shop. He landed, dusted himself off, thenbowed to Uruhara. "Good evening, sir." He leaned against a nearby wall. "So, any new insights?" He asked hopefully.

Aoshi, deciding to make himself known, answered Tatsuo's question. "The hollow was waiting for us as we came out of the portal. Someone not only knew we were coming but had the presence of mind to set up a contingency if we managed to slay said hollow. The hollow bait was a clever back up plan." Taking another sip from his delicious sake, he paused to offer it to those present before continuing. "The question we need to ask is how many people in the Seretei knew of our mission with enough time to come up with a plan. Who would have something to gain by our mission failing and is that someone working with Aizen? Sadly, we have no evidence or proof other than our own conclusions and thoughts."
