Bleach vs. Naruto

Of those two, Naruto. Why? Because at least shit HAPPENS in that story! Bleach is sooooo drawn out that it hurts. I mean, what has happened in the last few chapters of Naruto? Armies have begun to clash, people have died in battle, exposition has been told... the works. What has happened in the last few chapters of Bleach? Uryu got attacked on ONE PAGE and the rest has pretty much consisted of Ichigo getting stalked. DULL, DULL, DULL!

I watch both, and ill have to say Bleach. But One Piece is better then both of them combined.

I would honestly rather watch reruns of One Piece than new episodes of Naruto. Bleach is better, but only a bit.

I've watched both of these since I was around 15 and I'll have to honestly say Naruto. Why? Because it actually has a story. Though Naruto is my favourite mainstream shonen series, Kishimoto has pulled some spineless copping out over the years, but overall it's still good for what it is.

But Bleach? I've always said that Bleach is just a template for large battles to take place. Sometimes the stuff that happen doesn't even make sense and people are killed off swiftly to move the plot along...

P.S. If you haven't watched or read past the first 10+ chapters/episodes of either of these series, you have no real opinion to form. That's like saying you watched the first season of Heroes and telling everyone it's the best show ever made.

I've only read the mangas, but I'd have to say Naruto.
Bleach had one absolutely brilliant arc (the soul society arc) and then went a bit meh and has gone downhill ever since. Naruto keeps having good arcs occaisionally, even though it can fuck them up (Pain arc I'm looking at you!!).

I haven't seen much of either, but from what I've seen of Naruto... he pisses me off. Just the character, his orange jumpsuit and his voice.

So I'll choose Bleach, because Naruto just gets on my tits.

I guess Bleach has always kept me more interested then Naruto('Cept maybe for some of the battles against Akatsuki).

I don't really know what to say about them anymore, they've both moved quite a bit away from what dragged me towards them and as has been mentioned before here - One Piece is sorta the only that's still at it's usual pace(and the manga is kicking ass too).

Oh! I don't know what the general opinion on this is, but i think Fairy Tail's a good anime too(though a bit weird in the sense that a woman uses insane swords and slashes away at people and all it seems to do is knock them over or rip their clothes >_>)

It started out great got bad, and is now getting REALLY good again.
I like the characters better, there are more that have some decent development but many are still left in the dust.
And Kubo's trolling?
GLORIOUS, yea some was stupid but some was absolutely hilarious.
Manga that is.

And i don't think it will, plus it looks like Kishimoto has forgotten about the themes Naruto had.
And the Arc's are getting really really boring and the characters are really starting to piss me off.

Agreed. I don't read the Bleach manga but I read the Naruto one. Thing is even in the Bleach anime I'm still waiting for story. I grow cold waiting.

But I still watch it week after week because the fights entertain me greatly. Kubo knows what he's good at. Maybe he should do what the Death Note duo do and get himself a partner.

I wanted to exit out of the nearest window after that arc. I nearly stopped respecting Kishi after that but it's been quality ever since (pretty much).

What can be said about Naruto and Bleach? They both are really popular, and have massive fan bases. But which one do you think is better? Just comment about which one you think is better, and why you think it is better. Simple right? Well if you think it is, then get posting!

Better? Not sure a comparison is apt. The worlds and how they are structured are rather different, ultimately, and Ichigo and Naruto have the following in common:

*Spiky hair
*Hero complex
*Oblivious to love

But if I had to pick one, I'd go with Naruto. Bleach is damn good, but Kubo keeps seeming to forget this. He makes interesting characters and reveals they're interesting about five panels before killing them or otherwise rendering them pointless. At least with Naruto, you more or less know the motivations of the cast, and can understand who and/or what you're rooting for. I for one am rooting for Kabuto. Dude was orphaned by war and used as Orochimaru's little ***** boy for years. He deserves to conquer the universe with his vaguely creepy snake appendages.

Hey, she's done plenty! She got willingly captured and thus caused a massive effort to recover her that left countless people killed and/or ruined as a result! How can you not say she had an effect on the plot and setting accordingly?

I watched Bleach for a while. Then, one day I thought, "What the fuck am I watching?" Turned it off and never went back. Naruto never interested me.

So, since both of them are batshit loopy, I'll have to go with Death Note. Also batshit loopy, but intriguing, somewhat different, and had the decency to be brief.

Im gonna go with the manga for Negima, it's the only long running series that I enjoy.
