I;ve found Tolkien's universe to be great, but his stories to be incredibly dull and uninteresting.

This, except I never got to experience the universe as I quit reading LoTR around a 100 pages or so. Dear God, does he need to go into detail about every little action a character does?

Also, I liked the Library level of Halo: Combat Evolved on legendary. something relaxing about you, your guns, and a whole bunch of targets that get up so you can shoot them again.

From playing the Ravenholm level of HL2, I found the game to be boring.

I think Justin Bieber gets a unfair rap because most people because they have to work hard for most of their lives to get the things they want, while at 16, Justin Bieber could retire already, and never have to worry about work again.

I don't think Dragon Age Origins was all that good.

Half Life 2 is okay.

I like fanservice.

I love JRPG's.

That's pretty much it.

I'm 16 and I STILL haven't seen the Matrix or Terminator films
I don't see why people hate the Star Wars prequels so much
I'm one of the "suckers" who buys the new CoD game every year

Mass Effect

Red Dead Redemption
Any Grand Theft Auto game
Killzone 2
I thought Halo: Reach was one of the worst disappointments of all time, and I'm a Halo fanboy.

I also thought at Uncharted 2 was pretty "meh", so were Dragon Age: Origins and KOTOR.
And I love Star Wars Episode III.

EDIT: Also, I love JRPGs, and I don't find any of the protagonists annoying in any way.

And just by the way, in confession you say "Forgive me for I have sinned." not bless me...
It depends. In Asutralia, Catholics will begin with "Bless me Father, for I have sinned".

My confession is that I like some of Kesha's songs. And this is even worse, because I used to study music and know that she should be disdained as merely mediocre...

I like the concept behind the werewolves from Twilight, shape changing native Americans rock
imo.

I find Wulfgar to be a far more interesting character then Drizzit.

I don't see why everyone hates on 4e it is actually pretty good.

I have nothing to confess as that would imply my opinions are a secret, but as long as I'm here

Oblivion and Fallout 3 are horrible games on a horrible engine. New vegas vanilla beats both combined with all their mods, and it's not even that good of a game.
Bioshock is garbage compared to system shock 2
Mass effect 1/2 aren't that good
I have valve
steam should be thrown into a volcano.
Just one thing - New Vegas uses the exact same engine (Gamebryo) as Oblivion /Fallout 3. I will concede, however, that New Vegas' story is much better than Fallout 3's.

Out of curiosity, how many mods have you actually checked out for Oblivion/Fallout 3? Because for Oblivion at least, that rabbit hole be deep.

I confess that there are a lot of really popular mainstream video games that I dislike. At the very least, there's a heck of a lot of them that, while they may not be totally terrible, I don't think deserve a fraction of their popularity. I mean, it's a pretty damn long list. In fear of being flamed, I'm not going to make this so called list.
Not in any ways trying to belittle your confession: actually saying you don't like something popular[footnote]mainstream in particular[/footnote] is the commonest thing.

There's a pretty extensive list of movies I need to see (too long to list).

I liked the last 2 episode of Eva, even if they didn't really make much sense. I also didn't hate Shinji.

I still watch Family Guy, even though I'm aware of the quality slide.

I don't hate /b/ (the honor of worst board on 4chan goes to /new/).

I don't worship Bioware (I don't hate them, I just haven't played their games).

I've never watched a full episode of any of these shows:
X-Files
Lost
Heroes
Firefly
Battlestar Galactica (Sci-Fi channel series)

I was happier to hear that Michael Dorn and René Auberjonois were cast in New Vegas, than Felicia Day and the dude from "Chuck".

I own a copy of "The Princess Bride" on DVD, but I've never watched it. I don't especially like that movie, but it was a gift a few years back so I had to accept it.

-I really don't like the Simpsons. Never have.

-I love my Nintendo Wii.

-I didn't like FLCL. The art was pretty and the music was nice, I just really couldn't get into the story. Says the girl who writes essays about Narutaru and Evangelion.

-I'm terrible at videogames. I love them, but I'm terrible at them.

-I don't like Joss Whedon's or Quentin Tarantino's works. Again, they're not bad, I just can't get into them for some reason.

-I'm an optimist and like to see the best in things. At the very least, I like to look at things that can be corrected rather than complaining about what cannot. (People often make fun of me for being an optimist and trying to be nice. I actually LIKE being nice to people.)

-I still write Sailor Moon fanfiction. Though my two most recent involve a post-apocalyptic wasteland setting in one and a storyline almost entirely unrelated to Moon and Co. in the other.

-I adore Stephen King's works. He's probably my favorite author.

I think Bioware RPGs have turned into Interactive Movies with a decent story and average gameplay. Got 3/4 of the way through Dragon Age, 1/2 the way through Mass Effect and half an hour into KOTOR before getting burnt out. Spent over 200 hours on Baldur's Gate 2.

Haven't seen one episode of Heroes or Battlestar Galactica

I love Stargate: U

I haven't owned a console since the N64.

Godfather movies aren't really all that good.
I think The Simpsons have only become better. I prefer the new ones.
My favorite Star Wars movie (watched all of them completely for the first time this year at the crisp age of 22) is Episode III. They're all overrated.
Justin Bieber is just another pop star with a good voice and very good production making catchy songs. I laugh at people who "hate" him. It's actually just making him more popular than ever.
Call of Duty -games are good FPS's.
I don't care about Dr. Who.
I have only seen a movie or two from 2010.
I don't like comic books, at least not those Marvel/DC/whatever superhero and such comics.
I don't find the geek girl -look attractive at all. I don't like girls with glasses.
The Fight Club is slightly overrated.
I don't like Family Guy. At all.
I don't like MMO's at all.

I found Kingdom of the Crystal Skull to be very entertaining, though flawed. I found it much better than Temple of Doom, at least.

Jar Jar Binks does not inspire vast amounts of rage in me. I don't thing he's a good character, but I don't hate him. This, as well as I enjoy all 6 main Star Wars movies. I also especially think that Empire Strikes Back is seriously overrated. The impact and legacy of the original trilogy is tremendous and unavoidable, yes, but it has some of the same problems as all the others.

CG never really bothered me. Not even copious amounts of it. It never detracts from my enjoyment of a movie. So much so that the only things in the Special Editions of Star Wars that irk me are Han not shooting first(because it's a very poor special effect, and its considerably less awesome than shooting first), and Hayden Christensen inserted into Return of the Jedi(because I don't believe he deserves to be in my favorite Star Wars movie). The only movie where I thought it was poorly utilized was E.T., when the ball was dropped with the CG alien watching his ship fly off. The redone scene of him running away from the squad in the dark was done well, though.

G1 Transformers had only three interesting characters(Optimus, Megatron, and Soundwave), as well as admittedly decent pacing, IMO. Otherwise, it had poor animation flow, not just in movement, but in consistency, cheesy dialog that was laden with bad puns, and too many side characters. A few of the storylines were decent, but I don't thinks its anywhere good enough to deserve all the unrelenting fans.

I quite enjoyed Michael Bay's first Transformers movie. I also thought the character designs in it were quite appropriate for a live-action version. Also, Shia LaBeouf is just average, not a "LaBitch" as so many enjoy saying. I haven't seen RotF, and while I've heard enough things that do detract my interest, if I saw it, I don't think I would mind all that much.

I think Blade Runner is a very mediocre movie, loaded with too much symbolism and panning crane shots and not enough plot. Harrison Ford and Rutger Hauer do well enough on their own, but just about everyone else is a chore to watch. Ford and Sean Young had virtually no chemistry, a recurring problem with Ford and his leading ladies until Raiders, the "villains" are hardly threatening, especially with the police TELLING us that they destroyed a transport rather than SHOWING us so that we can develop a fear for them and watch them develop as we see their quest for humanity, and it moves at such a snail's pace, its hard to be interested in anything they do. Art design is fantastic, though.(I have the 5-disc collector's set, so I have seen the Final Cut, FYI)

I don't let pop stars like the Jonas Bros., Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, etc. get on my nerves. As far as I'm concerned, they're just as easy to ignore as anything else I'm not interested in. I understand others may unwillingly be subject to their work and fans by means of job/siblings/significant other, whatever, but they're just too fleeting for me to take to heart. Unless they put out pretentious statements like "I'm my generation's Kirk Cobain." and write memoirs at age 16. Don't mind the kid that much, but I find that very stupid. I do like that he's (trying to, maybe) active in speaking out against gay bullying, though.

I have no love for online gaming, and multiplayer modes start to bore me quicker than they used to.

I still enjoy Simpson's and Family Guy, on occasion. I think they still put out a decent episode once in a while.

I adore the LOTR movies, but I found the books to be in dire, DIRE need of an editor, and I could only get halfway into Fellowship.

Hype over anything is the epitome of stupid, and I believe a large amount of hate for things like Avatar and The Expendables comes from people giving into it, and being astonished when it becomes popular despite sub-par qualities, or they try to completely reject any and all idea of something possibly being good that's hyped so much, that they go in seeing it looking for all the faults they can; a sure-fire way to make sure you hate something.

I do not think that subs are always better than dubs in any media. I, in fact, enjoy listening to the dubs of several films, cartoons, and anime in almost any language, whether or not I understand the language, and whether or not the dub script is any good. I also enjoyed the English dub of Evangelion. I thought they all got better after the fifth episode. Not all the actors were that good, but it certainly wasn't horrible.

I have a slight OCD when it comes to viewing media in terms of in-universe chronological order, which is why I started Star Trek with Enterprise. I also enjoyed it, despite some faults, and I think it is underrated.

I have no tolerance for people who say,"They ruined/raped my childhood!!!" Trying to preserve the golden memory of your childhood favorites is like trying to actively keep your 30 year old daughter's virginity intact. It isn't worth it, and people who see you do it are just going to think you're a narrow-minded fool to mentally unstable to accept change.

I am a poor reader, and although I'd like to get into more sci-fi novels, I find it hard to pick up books.

I don't pay attention to bad press about gaming companies like Activsion or EA, so I often don't get why people get so pissed at them. Sure, I've heard of a few cock-ups, but I'll try just about any game once. Like I said: Hype is dumb.

I couldn't play FFVII past the first boss

There are actually one or two songs from Nickelback that I enjoy

I havent seen Fight Club in its entirety.

I only JUST watched the Lord of the Rings series in its entirety

I've never seen Lost, nor do I plan on doing so.

Yahtzee's review of Demon's Souls made me think he was a bit of a pussy.

I have a moral objection towards paying for Xbox live so long as the PS3 has free online.

I'm sick to fucking death of pokemon.

I don't understand why people swear by the Metal Gear Solid series. I just feel like the story isnt all that great and the controls are clunky and awkward.

Eh... Okay.

- I didn't like Inception that much.

- I like really dumb movies at times.

- Nickelback's not too bad.

- CoD, in my opinion, is the best series in gaming.

- I kind of, sort of hate Nintendo.

- I don't mind sports games being rehashed and sold every year.

- Same goes for CoD.

- Or any game series I like for that matter.
