Bleszinski: Gears Became a Negative Stereotype

Loving all the people being sarcastic because its a violent game. Plenty of games can be violent but strive to also make the player think.

Hell, i'm pretty sure in dragon age I was covered in blood for 90% of the game.

90% of DA? I went out of my way to remain coated in a nice layer of .50c Alterior spray.

now, i wouldnt deny that there are intelectual themes somewhere in Gears, but they kinda got lost behind Cole Train. Cole train rules. and you couldnt have gears without the Lancer Chainsaw Gun.

Oh, they got lost indeed. But it does annoy me a tad when people on this site snort and act like dicks because it had "bro" humour and violence in it.
