Didn't a blind kid once beat Ocarina of Time? If a blind person can do that then I don't see any reason why this guy shouldn't be able to succeed at this. Best of luck to him.

I'd like to point out he's only running 260 miles for charity and is infact biking the other 740 miles so the title to this thread is a little misleading. But it is very cool, certainly something that i will never achieve despite having two functioning eyes.
yeah, while that is amazing, 1000 miles running? forest gump would be impressed by that feat.

i'm very interested to see how he's going to do it..

tl;dr

this is amazing, but title is misleading for sure.
Did you seriously just do tl:dr to get 27 words down to 9 words? The internet has really gone downhill if 27 words is too long for some people to read.
haha i like to apply my statements to all audiences ;]

i tl;dr just for lulz sometimes, as you were baffled by.

A blind man running? But how will he know where to go?

Anyways, good for him, and the charity I suppose but this does not restore my faith in humanity. Humanity will have its ups and downs and one instance of a running blind man will not make up for all the horrible that has occurred.

I guess its ok. I mean I would be more impressed if he said he was bear hunting for charity, Yes, indeed, that would have impressed me.

That's what I want to know. I can't imagine running 100 feet with my eyes closed, much less ten marathons in ten days. And most of it is going to be on a bike?! That's even worse! You're going faster, and don't even have feet on the ground to help feel where you're going.

That's pretty hardcore.
