I'd like to point out he's only running 260 miles for charity and is infact biking the other 740 miles so the title to this thread is a little misleading. But it is very cool, certainly something that i will never achieve despite having two functioning eyes.

yeah, while that is amazing, 1000 miles running? forest gump would be impressed by that feat.

Anyways, good for him, and the charity I suppose but this does not restore my faith in humanity. Humanity will have its ups and downs and one instance of a running blind man will not make up for all the horrible that has occurred.

That's what I want to know. I can't imagine running 100 feet with my eyes closed, much less ten marathons in ten days. And most of it is going to be on a bike?! That's even worse! You're going faster, and don't even have feet on the ground to help feel where you're going.

That's pretty hardcore.
