If you have any doubt whatsoever about a Blizzard email, it's a scam.

Personally, if I get any I ignore them, I'll know if there's a problem if I actually can't log in, and then I'll go to the official site and try logging in.

If that doesn't work I'll phone them.

I'm surprised these people aren't hated more however, they're essentially thieves, and they're stealing hours of someone's hobby time, it's akin to sneaking in at night and smashing a kid's model airplanes. Then selling them for a few cents of firewood.

Rule of thumb, if you are not sure go to Battle net directly avoiding any links in the e-mail and check everything is alright.

Change your password regularly etc etc.

I had a beta e-mail which I thought was a scam until I checked on battle net manually and it turned out I actually was invited so did everything via battle net.

I have about thirteen of them sitting in my inbox at this very moment. Not only is the address a fake, but if you're using Firefox then it informs you that the website is a scam.

I'm getting a billion 'message failure' messages in my hotmail that i've *apparantly* sent, saying some crap about blizzard accounts., being apparantly sent to a zillion different people.
They're still coming even after i've changed my password & stuff, so I dunno what's happening with this..

I've just received a suspicious e-mail apparently from 'noreply@blizzard.com' about changes to my Battle.Net account..

Living in the UK I can't call those support numbers to ask Blizzard, but are the links in that e-mail actually Blizzard and should I contact them?

Has anyone had this kind of scam e-mail before? It seems similar to a phishing e-mail intended to get someone to give away their Steam account information, but since I don't have a Battle.Net account, why have I received it? What are the implications of someone using my e-mail address for a Battle.Net account?
I've had the same email, just ignore them. If unsure then just check your account from the official site.

Myself and my old man get emails like this every now and again. We often show eachother a few of the 'good ones' and have a nice chuckle or two.

OT: Report it to Blizzard if you can.
